Saved my BreastFeeding Journey
I originally purchased the Double Electric Medela pump which was ineffective as it barely pulled out any milk despite adjustments to setting, flange sizes, and length of time for each pumping session. As I was concerned about my milk supply, I ordered the Medela Sonata and it has been exceptional. I am pumping on average 4 to 7 oz each session. Also, it is versatile as it has a built in Lithium Battery that is rechargeable so I neither have to be connected to an electric plug nor using an external battery system.Downside is how heavy the unit is so moving around with it requires extra thought. And sadly, it does not have a clip so you cannot clip it to your pants. It is also too clunky to fit in a fanny pack. Nevertheless well worth it.

Saved my EP journey
After using the hospital symphony machine I struggled to find an at home pump that worked for me (found the spectra suction too painful, wearables didnât quite empty me). This is the closest if not equivalent pump Iâve found in terms of output and suction and love it! Super convenient size wise for travel + daily use and great to transition to if you love the freestyle

Does good and kept up with the need.
The unit is quite portable. And was a lot easier to use than expected.

Quality
I had a free pump through insurance and it was not working properly. I purchased this and my milk supply has never been better. Thank goodness for this pump! I also love how much it comes with!

Wish I found this pump sooner!
I wish I found this pump sooner, I truly believe it would have helped my breastfeeding journey so much!! I am 7 weeks PP with my first baby and had to start pumping almost from the beginning because she wasnât transferring milk well. My supply has been very up and down and Iâve stressed a lot because of it. This pump is so much more comfortable than my spectra and empties me better in shorter time and seems to be helping my supply. I have only gotten an ounce out of my âslackerâ a handful of times since I began pumping for my baby. Since using this pump I have gotten AT LEAST an ounce every time, and this morning I actually got 2 ounces from my slacker, and NINE from my other side, for a total of 11 ounces in one pumping session. Not to say that happens every time, but Iâve never gotten that much with my spectra. I do not love pumping, but I love this pump!

It didnât live up to all the hype for me.
I did a ton of research and these are my nails thoughts after experiencing the pump firsthand.Unfortunately, I already returned the pump so I canât attach pictures – but all the reviews are 100% true regarding the crappy screen readability. Some numbers you canât even tell what they are because of how terrible the lights are. The suction power and/or the flanges, or maybe the combination of the two, actually hurt me to use so thatâs the primary reason I returned it. The positive is that it was sooooooo quiet! But that wasnât enough reason for me to keep it when it was so much more uncomfortable and less efficient than the spectra pump. Also, the pump parts are tedious to clean and most difficult to replace because they are so unique to the medela pump. And finally, the bottles and the flange connector do not work well together at all. It constantly feels like itâs going to break the thin flexible plastic of the top, because when you screw then together it feels like it isnât tight enough, but when you tighten further it snaps out because the plastic is flexible. (Itâs hard to explain without showing the parts, but it was really terrible.) Also, I didnât like that you couldnât see your nipples with the flange covers because Iâm not a mama that can always detect my let down, but seeing when my milk begins flowing guides me on the settings to tweak. That is something I LOVE with the spectra also, much more customizeable suction and speed settings. I can get three let downs sometimes within 25 minutes when watching the milk flow and adjusting when necessary to maximize output efficiency. This one adjusts the speed and suction together with each level and you cannot change one without the other (like keeping the same speed, but changing the suction). I tried trusting the suction settings they programmed since it was raved about to be so similar to the incredible symphony pump, but it was less efficient for me than a spectra pump. Overall, I just didnât really enjoy any part of this pump besides the noise level. And Iâll get over that with a slightly louder, but better pump all around. Bummed, because I realllllly wanted to love it and the cooler, bag, and bottles the set came with were great. Oh, and the âhandleâ is awkward too. ð I just didnât love it and Iâm thankful for the ability to return it since it didnât work for me.

I love this pump
I love this pump. This is the second breast pump I bought cause the first one wasnât strong enough for me. it was the hands free horture or something like that. Was $98 so I bought it. After I used the hospital one I really I wanted one closer to the hospital grade. The symphony is 2000$ and I couldnât afford it so I chose the next best option
