This Cat Scratching Post is Big, Tall and Nice!!! Heck it’s almost 2 feet in diameter at its base and well made. I just wish that the instructions included were more than just a little one-page drawing of the parts. It could’ve been more straightforward if there were more details included on how to assemble it. I had to decide which way to stand the 2 post halves together, since how one end of each post is carpeted and one end is not carpeted. And I had to decide which way to aim the double thread ended bolts which were off centered. It took about 15 minutes to assemble this thing. It really is a very nice post though. Our cats are loving scratching the heck out of it but they haven’t attempted to jump up onto it yet. I’m happy that I purchased this thing.

Cats give this two paws up!
This is the best scratching post I’ve ever purchased. My Burmese were climbing on the post before I even got it out of the box. Pros: 1. the base is sturdy and fully supports the post and platform on top; 2. The post itself is considerably wider and heavier (thus more stable) than everything else I’ve owned or looked at. It’s wrapped in rugged quality sisal that would likely hold up if I had Bobcats, let alone these little guys. It’s height allows the cats to stretch a bit to scratch. 3. The removable “chaise lounge” on top is attractive, sought after and apparently quite comfortable if you’re a cat. 4. The whole thing actually looks nice in the room with its warm color and rich-looking fabric on base and platform. See the birthday boys enjoying their present!Cons: so why not 5*? B/c the packaging is dreadful. I had to return 1st one because the ridiculously flimsy box broke, and screws were missing. The hard parts were not not wrapped, providing no cushion against the thin cardboard. This is why box broke – hello? It was a lot of trouble to repair the stupid box and schlep this HEAVY item to UPS store. The replacement also arrived in damaged box, but screws were enclosed, and product was intact so I could use it. Amazon was responsive to my concerns, but Trixie Pet Products needs to do a much better job of shipping this excellent product. Caveat emptor.

Quality product and super cute!
This cat tree is perfect for my 8 pound cat! It is sturdy enough for her to climb all the way up to the top without it wobbling too much(see video), and she fits perfectly on the top perch (the bed at the top is very stable and could easily fit up to a 10lb cat). The middle landing is small, my cat likes to sit on it to play with the ball, but it will be too small for bigger cats. The height is perfect, it’s not too short but not too tall, and it was very easy to put together; took me about 5-10 minutes. This is by far the cutest/best looking cat tree I’ve seen + it’s good, quality material. My cat was on it within minutes; it’s only been a day and she’s already napping on the bed at the top. Highly recommend!!

Very cheaply made
I could never get the tower put together. It looked like it was previously used because there was hair on it. It was very cheaply made. I feel like it would have tipped over if my cat jumped on it. The parts were missing but the company quickly replaced them.

Der Kratzbaum wurde von unserem Mäuseschreck sofort angenommen.Er kommt in einem Paket zerlegt. Muss also selbst montiert werden. Dies ist aber kein Problem.Ein Imbus wird mitgeliefert.Er hat zwei Säulen, die zum Krallen schärfen benutzt werden können. Diese sind mit Sisal umwickelt.Diese haben ein Standartmaß und können nachbestellt werden. Sehr gut!Unten ist eine Höhle, dann kommt eine Zwischenplatte und oben eine Liegefläche.Hier sollte man beachten, dass große Katzen sicherlich Platzprobleme bekommen werden.Was für ein Glück, dass unser Schnurrer so zierlich ist.Was schön ist, dass die beiden Säulen oben und unten durch die Platten verbunden sind und dadurchrelativ standsicher sind.Würden wir immer wieder kaufen !!!
