Light Weight And Accepts Wide Blades
We love our Doodles but the price of grooming is insane. Not saying a professional groomer is not worth it, they are, but the cost comes down if we keep our boys trimmed and Matt free in the meantime. This trimmer will pay for itself in 3 months. It accepts wide blades which is a Godsend when shaving larger dogs. It’s pretty quiet and will heat up like a normal trimmer, so a second favorite blade is just smart, so you can switch blades and keep going. Keep checking your trimmer head regularly for heat level with your hand. Too hot for your hand means too hot for your dog. For a Doodle, we purchased a 5WF and 5W for a coat about 3/8″ overall. This shaver comes with a size 10 blade for a closer cut around the face and Sani area (do face first!). This trimmer and those blades make quick work of a thick coat. You need to make sure your pooch is washed, dried and brushed out or any trimmer will have issues. Watch every video you can and know your dog will not be show dog ready the first couple of times, but with practice, you will get the hang of it. Then take your buddy to a pro groomer for that super crisp finish once a quarter or so.

Professional groomer review
Iâve been grooming for 10 years, Iâve always had Andis clippers, most recently the pulse zr and zr2, after having each for a few years and running into constant issues with the battery, I decided to go team wahl. Iâve only had them a few weeks so far but Iâm absolutely in love. Theyâre much quieter and work so well on all coat types. I would highly recommend these clippers for any professional groomers looking for a good/reliable cordless clipper. Also itâs my favorite color so thatâs a bonus too!

Have a Goldendoodle with thick hair the hair needs to be clean and brushed out I bought the extra attachments they are well worth it if you don’t brush your dog well you’re going to have to go to Shorter attachments but the Clipper Works fantastic love that it’s cordless since my dog moves around

Pros + cons
This is my first cordless clipper, but I do work in a salon where the girls have a variety to compare it to. This one isnât the heaviest cordless clipper and itâs easy to move around while I work (but I do think I have slightly large hands). I put it back on the charger while Iâm not using it, and it lasts a full shift with 5 haircuts. It does get hot fast, and I noticed this the 2nd day of use. I compared it to my coworkerâs older model red KM Cordless, and hers was not hot and doesnât seem to get hot like mine. The seam around my clipper also starter to pull apart and widen, and I noticed this at the end of my 2nd shift using this clipper. Something about the physical mechanism of locking in my blade feels stiffer than my corded clipper, as well.Some of the qualities are a little disappointing for how fast theyâre being noticed. But this is getting me through doodles, big outline trims, first time puppies, Maltese, etc. I do appreciate the power and the 2 settings. I do find the slightly quieter one helpful for skittish dogs, if the full power option is too load for them.Iâll give another update if I experience any other downsides to this clipper, in time.

Very Powerful Clippers, worth the money
These clippers are 100% as advertised. Powerful, quiet and well built. Cuts through my goldendoodleâs hair so smooth! Just note, the blade it comes with, if you just go right down will take it down to almost skin. There are combs and guides for sale on Amazon but they seem to be all aftermarket and no guarantee they will fit. We ordered a 3F blade instead and works great to leave home at about 1/2â

Love my new clippers! They’re a little loud compared to my heinigers, but overall they do a great job. While it’s not my favorite, I love having the ability to plug them in while I work if they die. They’re comfortable in my hand and not too heavy.

Great Pet Trimmers
We have a Shih Tzu puppy with fast growing hair. I need to groomer her every 4 to 6 weeks. These are pricey but worth it. Charged battery life is great, sound is quiet enough to not scare our little girl and they do a great job on all of her hair. This trimmer will pay for itself with the cost of grooming being so high. I highly recommend them.
