This 1/4HP diffused aeration system with a Post Mount Cabinet is ideal for small to medium sized ponds and lakes. It is easy to install and maintain and features quiet operation. These systems do not require electricity in the water, making it safe for swimming.
Robust-Aire is a beneficial mixing system for ponds and lakes. A shore-mounted compressor pushes air through self-weighted lines to a dual-loop diffuser at the bottom of the pond or lake. The diffuser then continuously releases micro-bubbles that rise to the surface, carrying large volumes of water. This mixing process increases oxygen transfer which improves water quality, expands fish habitats, decreases muck, and much more.
Robust-Aire Diffused Aeration Systems help eliminate thermal and chemical stratification in ponds and lakes. Stratification occurs when water is layered by temperatures and/or chemical properties and density. This can lead to a number of problems such as reduced oxygen levels and an increase in nutrients on the pond or lake bottom which causes unwanted plant growth, foul odors, and more.
The RA2-PM system includes all the essential components for efficient aeration. The Post Mount Cabinet can be attached to a post or vertical wall with the included hardware. The 1/4HP 120V compressor is designed and built to meet the demands of continuous-duty, year-round, large aeration applications. The dual-loop diffuser is clog-resistant and provides high volumes of upward water movement for thorough mixing. This system includes 2 rolls (100 ft. each) of 3/8 in. tubing.
The dual-loop diffuser and Post Mount Cabinet are backed by a lifetime warranty, ensuring long-term performance and reliability. The compressor motor is covered by a warranty for 3 years, providing reliable operation and the piston cups and cylinder of the compressor are covered by a warranty for 2 years. Tubing has a 15-year warranty.
