It works perfectly and it is very nice quality, and it is comfortable to type on.
I really love the quality and the material itâs is made of, a very smooth and nice feeling. The keyboard is very responsive and it is easy to type on. I really thought that I wouldnât need this case/ keyboard for school but it is actually very useful and I also thought that the size was going to be too small and uncomfortable to type on but itâs actually really not. Itâs super thin and it makes it very portable. Iâd say it is a bit pricey, but itâs worth it. Especially if you go to school or work in a business.

Love it
Beautiful case I love it! This also is very handy with the Apple Pencil it does not get in the way. My only complaint is sometimes the magnet isnât enough and Iâve had the iPad fall out. I read some reviews and I agree that this case is meant to protect from scratch damage not a drop. The keyboard works great my mom actually prefers to practice keyboarding on my iPad instead of her laptop.I see a lot of people complaining the keyboard isnât backlit, if you want a backlit iPad keyboard purchase the magic keyboard which is $300 last time I checked.

After 3 months I enjoy using the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio
The appearance of the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio is clean, simple, and to the point. I researched and reviewed other smart keyboards for the Apple iPad Pro. Other products did offer more bells and whistles with their product at a cheaper price. However, I did not want to carry the extra stuff around when using the iPad. In the long run, the extra stuff would defeat the purpose of a mobile tablet (in my estimation). The keyboard is responsive. Little effort is needed to click buttons. Other people using my Apple Smart Keyboard almost want to smack the buttons when they type because they are used to the loud click and stiff buttons on other computer keyboards. There is minimal sound. I have been in meetings where a colleague is using his Microsoft tablet keyboard. The clicking sounds that emanates from his typing is distracting. One of the components I enjoy about the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio is the texture on all the keys. The texture is different from the normal plastic flat feel from traditional keyboards. I would describe the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio texture as your finger tips feeling grooves of diagonal lines. The texture is different and it offers a new feel to your typing experience in a positive way.Overall, the Apple product has gained my trust and I would buy it again. The price is a little much, but I forgot how much I paid for it once I started using it because I enjoyed all the factors I mentioned on top of it being dependable, responsive, and unique. I use the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio for my job (office) and at home. I have used it for 3 months so far.

Great product but overpriced
I’m not gonna lie. It is very expensive but I hate to love it. The typing experience is just so satisfying and the instant pairing makes life so much easier. I previously decided to get a third party bluetooth keyboard for the IPad but it was plagued with connectivity issues and delays in typing. After receiving this keyboard, I can say without a doubt that it offers the best typing experience on the IPad but at a very high price.

Works great, but wears out rapidly.
I’ve been buying and using iPads since their introduction and they’re my primary computing device, so mine have always received a lot of wear. The original Apple covers were pretty hardy and tended to last as long as the device. I’m now on my third keyboard cover for my iPad Pro. The functionality is excellent, but the thin vinyl coating starts wearing within a few months and then, eventually, the whole thing gets really flaky, both physically (little bits of it start falling off) and electronically (starts exhibiting odd and unpredictable behavior). My usage is probably higher than 99% of iPad owners, but still, it could be more durable.

Got this before I saw other options, still a really good keyboard though!
Since purchasing, I’ve seen a lot of really competitive options at similar/cheaper price points (Look into Brydge and Logitech for comparison). However, this is still a great option for some. I like the magnet installation/removal – super easy and convenient. The fabric keys are soft and pleasant to type with, won’t scratch my screen and keep the profile super thin. Wish there was some sort of magnetic flap on the side that further secured the pencil for extra security – since it has fallen off by accidentally nudging it. It’s a little bit awkward to switch the screen position, just because it does take a little force. I’m always scared I’ll pull too hard to detach from the magnet and slowly start to wear off the edge of the folio or even eventually tear it, cause these magnets are GOOD. But so far, happy to say it’s still in perfect condition and you sort of get used to the force you need to detach it without overdoing it. The sync/charging is seamless (all through the iPad smart connector) – and you don’t get from the competitor keyboards. I can’t wait for iPad OS 13 where they enable support for a wireless mouse. We’ll be that much closer to getting a full laptop-like experience on an iPad! Surface Pro better watch out. It’s only a matter of time.

Better than the magic keyboard
I acknowledge that there is a place for the magic keyboard (Appleâs offering that includes track pad, backlit keyboard, etc.) but for most people this is going to be the better iPad offering. Unless youâre a heavy iPad user AND trying to use your iPad to replace a MacBook/Laptop, there really isnât a reason to get the Magic keyboard. The Magic keyboard is significantly heavier, bulkier, and most people never use the track pad. It also wonât allow you to hold it in one hand for âtabletâ mode without removing it from the keyboard, and then itâs totally unprotected. This case folds flat for one handed mode, still has the same fast key response, is much lighter and much thinner and will do everything most people need out of a case. Highly recommend.
