I have a large Golden doodle and his hair can get very matted even if you bush every other day. This is a wonderful tool as it thins out the hair if you use the tools along with it. Very happy purchase.

VERY EFFECTIVE BUT A BIT LOUD
These dog clippers do an amazing job. They’re a bit loud, though. They’re easy to use. Lots of power (2 settings) light weight but they don’t feel cheap. If they were quieter I would give them 5 stars. All in all a good value.

Great affordable clippers
These are great. Charge lasts a long time for a small poodle mix. Multiple grooms. Work better than a much more expensive recommended brand that I returned. May not be great if your dog has matting but works fine for thick poodle mix hair.

This is a pretty good set of clippers
Between my daughter’s family who lives us and our own, we have six dogs and three cats in our house. Two of which are Golden Retrievers, one Great Pyranese mix, and a very shaggy Corgi mix. Needless to say, our house looks like an old western landscape with tumbleweeds constantly rolling by.Keeping the fur at bay is essential to not becoming lost among the fur tumbleweeds. We’ve had corded clippers that are heavy and pain to use, and a lightweight set of cordless clippers that are okay for touch-ups but not up to the task of fully trimming our beasts.These trimmers looked like a good compromise between size, power, portability, and noise level, so I thought I’d give them a shot. They are lighter than our big corded model, but still have a quality heft to them. Included are a variety of combs to control depth of cut. Noise is reasonably quiet given its power level, though some of our dogs don’t even like to be brushed with a silent brush, much less something that vibrates and makes any noise at all. Battery life is pretty impressive as well.My only real suggestion for improvement is I wish it came with a proper case rather than the little velour drawstring bag. I’m seeing a lot of items come in those bags lately, and I really dislike them. But as for the trimmers themselves, I’m quite pleased.

My cat is a horrific fuzz-ball. She can shed at will and has the ability to shed on laundry before it comes out of the dryer, shed one piece of fur on brand new margarine as I’m opening the cover, and shed into the pocket of brand new clothing as I am removing it from the bag. I know.She doesn’t mind being shaved but she will allot the amount of time that I get to spend and when that time is up, it’s up. She will leave the scene of the crime, disappearing to her hideout and I’m left to wait and wonder if we’re going to finish up the same day or next week or…Over the years I’ve tried a number of clippers, pet and people specific, and I have found them to be heavy and noisy. This adds to the mild chaos where I am resting my hand now and again while shaving said cat and she sees this as her opportunity to exit.However, these particular clippers are really nice and light along with being very quiet. They are sharp and cut through her fuzz very nicely. I’ve only had a couple of shots at it, mind you, and she’s running around here looking like she’s been shanked, but we are working on it.The bottom line is that these clippers are the best I’ve come across in my dubious history of shaving cats and I highly recommend them.

If you hate paying over $100 to a groomer and don’t mind your dog looking a bit “uneven” (YMMV) as you improve your skills, this tool is for you. It’s very easy to use, cordless, and the noise level is within my dog’s tolerance. The quality is solid.
