I am so pleasantly surprised
So, I bought this on a total whim, when my trusted macbook of 13 years suddenly went haywire and I needed one for work. I spent about 2 minutes looking for options; and settled on this one since the price was low and I liked the color. I half expected it to show up disheveled with ample signs of wear and tear. However, to my delight, the thing looked brand new. Felt brand new. I still can’t tell the difference. A few weeks in, and I love this thing so much. It’s light and cute, and works wonderfully. I am so happy with my purchase and even happier I didn’t spend thousands on a new one, when this one is just as good!

This product is definitely worth the money!
I ordered this laptop because I needed a new one for school. It came out to a total of about $400. It got here very fast (about 4 days after ordering. Everything is working very well. In the box, it comes with the charger and laptop. The computer was very clean and there were no scratches. I just had to charge the computer when I took it out of the box, which I was perfectly okay with. I would 100% recommend to anyone that is looking for a good MacBook at a decent price to buy this one!

This “Renewed – Excellent” product was not as advertised
I have bought refurbished/renewed electronics, for myself and others, from Amazon and other places for years and never had a problem until this transaction. This product was described by the seller as “Renewed – Excellent” but was in Poor condition.The laptop had three very visible scratches on the outside cover, with additional scratches on the Apple logo. Worse yet, the backlit keyboard had MAJOR defects as 4 keys (A, S, E and D) had the letters completely worn off (and were illuminated as unreadable white blobs). Worse yet, a sticker had been haphazardly placed over the top of the D key. Not only was the sticker not even centered on the key, but a sticker on a key of a backlit keyboard disables the backlight functionality for that key. Horrible. I have owned a lot of computers over the years and have never experienced keys wearing off on a keyboard. This thing was either abused or defective from the start. I have two laptops that I use to run my business. Both bought refurbished or used (without being refurbished) and both have been great for multiple years and still have no physical defects despite a lot of travel and heavy use.Overall, VERY disappointing and deserves a 1-star review, only because I cannot give it a zero.I received a return authorization and will be sending it back for a refund. This disappointing experience also resulted in my daughter not having a computer for her first day of high school orientation. Iâm buying another one from a different seller today, so at least she will have it for the first day of class next week.There should be some sort of quality control process for allowing sellers to market renewed products under the Amazon name. Maybe there is and this one just slipped through the cracks.Update as of 9/10/24, I have still not received my refund or any communication from Amazon or the seller.

Pretty Good!
I was a little unsure of buying this since I felt like buying off Amazon Refurbished was a gamble due to the reviews I read online. However the computer I received is really good!The computer came just a little dirty (smudges) but thatâs fixable. It also had a few scratches but I just put stickers on it, itâs not a dealbreaker for me.The computer itself runs really smoothly. The screen isnât broken & it seems thereâs overall no issues. Itâs pretty light as well, and I love the simple silver color. Itâs budget friendly and something that your wallet wonât scream at you for.Iâm going to come back in 2 months and update! So far, so good.

Good Quality! One of the Keys is Broken
Works great! Looks nice, is a bit beat up (scuffs and scratches on the top and a scratch on the screen) Battery life is surprisingly good. only major complaints is that the up arrow key does not work at all. not sure if its stuck or just broken. but it just doesn’t work. Thankfully, I rarely use it but it is a hassle for things like writing papers for school.

My grandma bought me this laptop as a gift and i anticipated getting it ever since i hit submit order. i ordered it about a week and half and it arrived today and i was so so happy. i ordered the space gray with 16 GB and i was worried about how it was going to come in the mail with the other reviews but i was not let down. i bought the one in the excellent condition and it runs every well, the speed is excellent, the durability is amazing its very firm and heavy. the size is as expected 13 inchâs and i was so happy when i opened it up and seen he screen. the speakers and sound are loud and great for playing music. It it a very great product and came in great condition with an apple charger for it. I definitely recommend buying this product and it was definitely worth the wait. 🙂 thank you amazon !!

Excellent MacBook
I bought this for my high-school daughter to use as her school was no longer supplying them with a laptop. I was wary buying refurbished but it looked brand new and has been flawless. She has been using it for 4 months now and it has been working great! She says the battery life is very good and she likes that it stays charged for a long time. She has been able to be a more efficient student since we purchased this MacBook. Itâs light-weight and easy for her to carry around to classes.

Great exterior, can be a bit slow at times
I bought this laptop with 8GB of RAM hoping that it would not lag and could handle day-to-day tasks. However, with minimal use, the computer tends to lag and gets extremely hot, causing the fans to turn on. This then causes the battery to drain quickly. I can’t share screen on a video call without the computer lagging and all the fans turning on; having too many tabs open also on a search engine causes the same effect.

The computer was password protected. No password provided and obviously the disc had not been wiped. Tried to get help from Amazon twice. Dead end. Returned it and still waiting for my refund. Overall a very bad experience.

The article when received looked almost new, very little signs of use. The i5 processor works fine for my use, and I’m not convinced that the M1 chip has a great advantage over the i5 if running windows on this machine. Even though to M1 is lightning fast, the i5 is acceptable for me. I would recommend buying from this vendor again.
