These Kasa products are great! They work great!
I bought the first two about three years ago to run my Christmas lights outside. Since then Iâve purchased two more for the rest of my outdoor decorations. They are programmable so they turn on the lights either at a specific time or at sunset. Then you can program the timer to turn them off or you could set them to turn off at sunrise.

These are so nice to have. I have 3 for different spots. Easy to pair. Did have small issue getting 2 to pair, but one I worked with it trying to get out and back in and holding to pair button again they all work fine!2 outlets to each unit, able to schedule on/off times for each outlet

wifi distance weak
product works great with the smart life app… however, the wifi signal seems week at times. my other smart devices are reaching strong signals without issue, that are even further out. otherwise, product is good and covers seem to do a great job preventing water from coming in

Junk..does not work after a few days
Once the extension plug is pull each night on my outdoor bird bath, I have to push the switch on because the plug automatically shuts off once the extension plug is pulled…And the plug is under some bushes which makes it very inconvenient….plus now after a few days it dies not work at all….Add says for outdoor use…It is not good for outdoors… I aim to get my money back…

Per the instructions, downloaded the ios ap, plugged in the unit, held the button for 3 seconds and it went into pairing mode. Opened the ap and “added device”, it found the unit quickly but needed the Wifi password (so have that ready) to add it to the network (your Wifi needs to have 2.4ghz to make this work). Once added, the ap worked to control the unit – a nice feature is that you can name each of the two outlets individually, and control them individually. To add to alexa you need to add the “skill” for the “Smart Life” ap. Once that’s added it will “discover new devices” which it did within 30 seconds. Then voila – “Alexa, turn on the Water Fall” worked perfectly.
