Got it for my lava lamp
I got this dimmer for my lava lamp, which seemed to overheat after a couple hours. Using this dimmer switch, I could set up a schedule to not only turn my lamp on and off, but also to dim the lamp to a certain % after two hours of running on full power. If you have a lava lamp and a WiFi connection, this is a must!I had no problem with installation/connection of this dimmer. Easiest thing ever. I have my Christmas tree lights on one of these during the winter too! No more switching stuff on and off manually.

Purchased this because 1pk shows dimmable but got 2pk does not seem to be dimmable and dimmable not written on 2 pk box

This can not support 15 amp only 300 Watt, it can catch on fire
Not sure were their electrical Engineer want to school but 300 Watts is only 2.5 amps. The plug is clearly marked with a 300 watt rating yet it’s sold and even listed in the app as a 15 amp plug. 15 amps is 1800 watts. If you plug in over 300 watt (2.5) amps this plug will burn up and maybe en catch on fire! This is a very dangerous mistake.

Good dimmer
I donât often write reviews, mostly because what I have to say is a mirror of others.Some of our Z-wave plug-in outlets wouldnât connect to the new security system. And to top it off the security system has made it to where you canât add any unless you buy them from them.I have controllers from TP-Links Kasa line but none were dimmers. Itâs nice to have the ability to set the control as needed and it connected in a breeze to our Google home hub.Iâm impressed by the size they are tiny compared to the Z Wave ones and work just as well

It acts like a light bulb switch
It acts like a light bulb switch. I have mine hooked up to a fan and it works great.The only problem is that if you have a routine to turn off all the lights, thw fan goes off too. Now my lights off routine has a 5 second wait and a turn on fan command.

Led Bulbs will not shut off
Loved the dimmer until I replaced the halogen bulbs with led bulbs (T4 G9 20W), now the led bulbs are always on when I turn off dimmer. Customer support was quick to respond. Had the power socket checked out for correct ground not the problem. It appears the dimmer on the off setting still allows a small amount of power to be sent to lamp this will light the led bulbs. Solution put one halogen back into the lamp (lamp flickers when turned on or off and one bulb is different color temp), find a dimmer that works with leds, replace led bulbs with halogen or find led bulbs that have circuitry that the bulb works like an incandescent bulb.
