LOVE This Bowl!
Sorry this is such a long post, but I wanted you to see the challenges I faced before I bought these bowls. I purchased this bowl and the larger size because I have cats varying in sizes and weights from 15 lbs to 2 lbs. I also bought round silicone rubber mats to place under them. One of my cats has a VERY bad habit of tipping over every single water bowl I’ve ever tried. I had one that had a reservoir that I used for many years but because she could straddle it, she started peeing in it. I tried the jug water bowls but she swatted all the water out. I tried the dual feeding dishes. Nope, she scooted it all around the floor spilling the water out. Because she always did it while I was at work, the water sat on the floor all day, eventually seeping under my vinyl flooring 12×12 squares! So anyway, I saw these bowls and decided to give them a try. I liked the idea of a slanted stand and a heavy glass bowl. I read reviews about people not liking the color of the stand, but I give a hoot less about the color because I bought it for the PURPOSE. Well guess what…she knocked these bowls over, too – stand included! I was so mad. Tonight, I Gorilla Glued the stand to the silicone mat but that didn’t work. She got her paw under the bowl and raised the small bowl to the point of spillage…AGAIN! So now I just Gorilla Glued the glass bowls to the stands, too. I’m just going to have to wipe them down real good to clean them. We’ll see what happens. I’ll post again if gluing the bowl works in case anyone has the same problem with their cat.

Perfect for older pets
This bowl is perfect for small pets who have weakness in the back legs. We got it for our 16-year dog who is losing dexterity in his back end and has lost so many teeth he licks versus chews his food. With his old bowl heâd lay and eat and make a huge mess from the licking. With this bowl he can manage to stand or sometimes sit, and the tilt of the bowl is perfect to help him lick and keep the area much cleaner.The bowl is also super high quality and weighted enough to stay in place. And itâs quite stylish.

Cute and functional
This works great for my 20lb puggle. Nice tilt to it makes it easier for her to eat out of. We have it on a rug so it doesnât move around but if you put it on tile, it will move when they eat out of it most likely. Overall love the look and functionality of this bowl!

Much smaller than you think, but really adorable.
I have a 70# Golden Retriever. I was looking for an elevated bowl for her food & water because the units that are large and bulky in one large stand she barks at like it’s scary. lol. These are beautiful. They are small though! I accidentally ordered a small and it’s definitely a size suitable for a cat or small dog. Then I ordered the large and it’s small too, but better for a medium size dog. I would say the large bowl would be okay for my 70# Golden who is on the smaller size of a typical Golden dog food only, but I definitely think the Large bowl for water is not going to be okay. I might be refilling it 4x in one day? I just emailed the seller asking if they sell an Extra Large? It’s really super cute and I want to keep it, but I think it’s not going to be practical. Also, it really isn’t raised or tilted that much. It’s maybe raised 1 inch from the ground? Wanted to let you all know incase you are shopping for a large breed dog like my Golden Retriever.

It’s PERFECT
We have a 1 yr terrier mix. I have gone through several dishes. One too small, one too large..This is the goldilocks dish! I decided to stop buying the 2 dishes in one unit. I don’t let her graze, so when she’s done eating. I clean out the bowl and fill with water..which stays cooler in glass. We’ll be traveling in our vehicle this winter. I have a plastic travel dish food/water. However when we get to our destination I’ll give her this again. It’s simple, easier to clean and looks amazing!

Wide and sturdy
I was skeptical that the wire stand would work, but it was nice and sturdy when on a solid surface. Carpet is a bit rough still, but on a hard stable surface it works great. The bowl is thick and wont chip easily, and is wide enough that our snobby cat wont have to touch his whiskers on the bowl when dipping his head in.

Glass is much better than plastic versions!Easy to clean, easy to setup. Normal size, just be careful not to fill the water too much as there is a slight tilt!
