Thumbs up from me and my dentist
I am on a mission to rid my life of plastic. After researching bamboo toothbrushes, I decided on this one because the brush heads are not plastic (Dupont) and the replacement heads are available from the supplier.I started using the brush about 2 months ago. Before using, I rubbed coconut oil into the wood of the brush head to make it smoother and more durable. Coconut oil has antibacterial properties so I though it might help prevent mold or bacterial growth. At first it felt like I was trying to brush with a rolling pin. It is definitely larger and more difficult to maneuver in the mouth. It took a couple of weeks for it to feel comfortable and for me to become adept at using it. The brush head is softer and larger than my Sonicare. I hold it on my teeth and gum line, and slowly move it around the jaw line. I don’t do any type of “brushing” motion, I simply let the device do its job. My teeth feel very clean after I brush. If I run my tongue around the base of my teeth, I fell no rough spots or debris along the gum line. I used the brush for 2 months before my regularly scheduled cleaning. My hygienist said that my teeth were exceptionally clean at this visit, making her job quick and easy.I charge the brush around the first of every month. I haven’t tried using it until the battery dies. It holds the charge for a month without an issue. After 2 months I need to reapply coconut oil as the brush head has become dry and is not as easy to use. In the future I will do this monthly when I charge the battery. I do not remove the head between brushings. After each brushing I use a small piece of paper and run it around the space between the head and the handle to dry this area and keep it from getting crusty. (I’m particular about keeping things clean and hygienic.) This was a good purchase, time to move the plastic one to the trash.

Poor Fit For Phillips Sonic Care
This does not fit my Phillips Sonic Care. The head does not for completely down on the base unit. Does not seat so it comes off while you’re brushing. It was so bad, I ordered a different brand & will not use the second one in the box.

its a good toothbrush but it doesnt clean as well as i would hope for this price. the battery life is amazing. i like the 30 second intervals and aesthetic, but iâll be switching to a different one.

Beautiful and works great
I truly love this product and it was worth the investment for sure. The toothbrush is beautiful – aesthetically pleasing and looks great in my bathroom. I actually get excited to use it. It comes with an extra brush head which is really nice and multiple different functions, which I didnât know I needed until I used them! My favorite feature is that it is on a 2 minute timer but pulses every 30 seconds so that you can target different areas. So happy with this! My husband is asking for me to order one for him now, too.

Finally a no plastic, natural, toothbrush.
I love that it’s natural bamboo. Hoping it’s made without toxic chemicals. I don’t smell any. The brushing features are very nice and it feels like it’s cleaning my teeth. The charge base metal piece that sticks up for the toothbrush to sit on is much smaller around than the hole so the toothbrush is not firmly sitting on the base. It can be flopped around which is a bit concerning. Not sure if that’s normal but hoping to ask the manufacturer, seller, when I figure out how to ask them? Overall, LOVING this toothbrush. The packaging is a sturdy cardboard box that is like the old VCR tape boxes and the toothbrush with all its parts fits/slides into the box, for storage, with the manual. Very nice for keeping the extra brush head in it to find it all again. I love that the brushes in the toothbrush don’t have the chemicals the other toothbrush makers are putting in them to remind you to change the brush – the blue and green bristles are made by Dupont and they fade as you use the toothbrush so all that color chemical is going in your mouth. This brush has white bristles and they don’t appear to be made by Dupont or to be toxic though the ‘plant based bristles’ are not clear as to just how they are really made without chemical processing? I recommend this toothbrush over all other Sonic brushes.
