The only brand lightbulb I’ve used that does not flicker.
I have been very disappointed by most of the brands of LED lightbulbs available in the big box hardware stores that only seem to function well for a few months and then start to randomly and subtly flicker. This is not the result of a mismatched dimmer switch. I am using standard on/off toggle light switches. All of the Phillips wiz lightbulbs have performed excellently as smart bulbs and do not flicker. This is the only brand I am willing to buy for my non-enclosed light fixtures. It is expensive to buy a smart bulb when you don’t necessarily need that functionality, but it is also expensive to buy another cheaper brand of LED bulb that you can only tolerate for less than a year before it starts driving you nuts with random flickering. I have Philips wiz bulbs that are several years old and still performing perfectly. And places where I didn’t think I would need a smart bulb, I’m finding convenient to take advantage of the ability to turn these fixture into nightlights, especially as our pets are aging, and sometimes need some middle of the night attention.

HUGE Bulbs (roughly 3″ diameter, 5.5″ length), OK Features
Please note these bulbs are NOT standard size bulbs. They are quite large, larger than the A21 size they claim to be. These bulbs are 3″ in diameter and 5.5″ in length while A21 bulbs are 2.65″ inches in diameter and 5″ in length. Technically, their size would be an A24 since the A sizes are determined by multiplying the number of inches by 8. (A21 = 2.65″ diameter x 8 = 21). But I’ve never seen an A24 bulb before. So make sure you measure the available bulb space in your fixture before purchasing these to ensure it’s adequate.I was slightly disappointed in the features as most require using the app on your phone or a smart device like an Alexa, Siri or Google Home. I was hoping the “voice control” was built-in to the bulb, for instance, but it requires the use of an Alexa, Siri or Google Home device. Similarly, I was hoping the motion-detection was self-contained within each bulb but you actually have to install two bulbs in a room at a proper distance and it seems to work by sensing a disruption in the WiFi signal. In other words, it isn’t always ideal to set up in a space and is questionable of how reliable the “motion sensing” will be.If you don’t mind using the app or an Alexa/Siri/Google Home to control these then they might be the bulb for you. There are a lot of things you can control such as brightness, schedule, and remote control of the lights (even across the internet). The app is fairly easy to install and use for anyone who is used to installing and using apps to control WiFi devices like cameras, etc.Without the bulbs being completely autonomous for both motion detection and voice control these aren’t going to fit my needs. However, I’m not going to take much off the rating for it. They’re still a fair deal for the features. I will probably figure out a couple rooms in my house where I would like the lights to come on and off on a schedule when I’m away from home and will install them there. They will likely not see much use at all as I don’t travel much.

Didn’t Connect With Alexa.
It was impossible to Connect With Alexa. The Wiz App took long to recognize them. We installed and uninstalled several times. I can’t return them because it’s too late. I just opened the item. I never had trouble installing smart lights but this ones definitely were stressful and disappointing.

Sometimes work
Only 2/4 wiz lights we have seem to work. It takes a while to connect to wifi but still fun to turn off the lights without getting up!
