Amazing performance
Philips hue is the gold standard but costs a fortune, this bulb works amazing supports matter which is crazy easy to setup. Response time is very quick just ensure you have wifi outside your house if your going to use them outside

Amazing Little Bulbs
Being matter comparable, these were super easy to add to my Apple Home – just scan the QR code on each bulb and boom – they’re added. I put these little candelabra bulbs in four paper star shaped lamps for the holidays and easily programmed them to change colors, turn on an off, etc. I love them for the ease of use. The price point for four multi color bulbs is right on too. My only complaint is it took a while to get them.

You absolutely cannot beat the price of these light bulbs. I currently use the Hue system and a comparable Hue light bulb is approximately 5x higher. Would recommend the Lightinginside system to anyone who wants a smart lightbulb that can integrate into the Apple ecosystem.

Matter setup for Google worked well
The bulbs connected easily to Google Home/Nest as a Matter device and have been working for a few weeks now without any issues. My only complaint is that the response time on these bulbs seems to be just a fraction of a second slower than my other bulbs, but I don’t know if that latency is coming from the bulb or from Google. Either way, this is the only Matter E12 (candelabra) RGB bulb that I’ve been able to find, so I’m overall quite happy with them.I should also note that one of the bulbs I ordered was defective out of the box (didn’t connect and I heard rattling inside). But the company responded within a day to my support email and sent me a free replacement pack that arrived within a few days.

Doesn’t Work Well With Apple HomeKit
I use three in a single light figure and grouped them together in Apple Home. When you try to control them as a group they act weird, sometimes they will default to green, and or very dim, and they aren’t consistent. Turning them on and off again doesn’t seem to solve the problem. I have ungrouped them, and they appear to work, but you have to setup the automation one by one.Another issue is they are very very dim, unless you set the color using the Temperature in the Home app.

Set up was a breeze and I really like that I didn’t have to download and app and give all my information to the lightbulb company (as so many of the other lightbulbs I’ve had in the past required)

Spotty Functionality
These worked out of the box for a few minutes and then stopped altogether with Apple Home. Wrong colors, wouldn’t turn off, etc. Returned within a day. Maybe bad luck, maybe bad quality control.

Lightinginside is the only company making g16.5 smart bulbs. These are so good, definitely a step up from the previous plain WiFi ones. That one I had to use the smart life app, but the matter ones seamlessly work with my Apple Home app. Set up was a breeze and I had no trouble connecting them â I had tons of issues trying to connect the original plain WiFi ones. These are amazing.These however do not use the thread protocol. It is matter over WiFi.Lightinginside, please make matter/thread bulbs!!!! Until then, these fit the bill! Amazing bulbs.
