A great upgrade for my cat (and me!)
We have been using a automatic cat feeder for several years. We bought our first feeder here at Amazon a few years ago. It really helped us keep a heathy schedule for feeding our cat, and worked great if we had to go out of town for a day trip.But it was time to upgrade. The battery backup on the old unit wasn’t always perfect (it would lose its programming for some reason). And the plastic feeding bowl was not ideal. We wanted a new unit that had a companion app, so I wouldn’t have to lay down on the floor to re-program the feeding schedule.This Petlibro was perfect! We opted for the non-camera version, since we already have a Wyze camera facing the feeder that we use if we go out of town. But all the other features included are great!The app works great. Easy to use, and very helpful for programming and adjusting the feeding schedule. And it has a history log which shows each time the feeder is activated (either by your schedule, or manually). This makes it easy to reference our Wyze camera recordings, when we want to make sure kitty got her food as expected.The stainless steel bowl is a nice upgrade for us. And the visible area of the food storage is nice to see when the food is getting low. The app will also send a notification when the food level gets low.We are very pleased with this upgrade. And we will continue to stay loyal to Petlibro for other products!

Good Purchase – I dont regret
I needed to get my cat back on a schedule, and I didn’t want to be inconvenienced in the morning by changing her food and water bowls before work.As many reviews said, setting up the times to dispense the kibble will appear confusing, but once you’ve got it, it is straightforward.It dispenses food up to 6 times a day, at the times you choose, allowing how much food will be dispensed. It took a day or 2 for my cat to adjust. Now she runs where she hears her kibble hit the bowl. Bonus points because the bowl is metal and can easily detach for cleaning.Overall I have had no issues and would recommend this feeder for someone like myself. Work smarter not harder lol.

Works well but quantity options are odd
This works well for feeding pets on schedule. It wonât connect to WiFi on battery power, only when plugged in. That was a bit of a problem because my dogâs feeding area wasnât near an outlet. The measurements are in 1/12 cups, which is a little odd to me, but it works. (Need to use some math). Best for smaller dogs or cats because 1/2 cup of food almost fills the dish completely. Also the volume for the recording isnât very loud and I canât seem to find an adjustment. Overall though it works as described and feeds my dog when Iâm away at meal time.

Good little feeder for cats and small dogs
I have 2 cats and 2 feeders because I live alone and travel a lot for work. I feed wet food when I am home and freeze dried pellets when I travel. I need something that reliably feeds my cats while I am gone. I prefer app based products for peace of mind. I like having that notification showing my cats were fed on time.The PETLIBRO replaced my PETKIT feeders that I have been using reliably for the past few years. I decided to upgrade because the units I have did not have a back up battery compartment. You need this option in case the power goes out, so your fur babies are still fed. The PETKIT mini feeders worked great and my only problem was the lack of customer support as it is a China based company.I had my selections narrowed down to PETKIT, PETLIBRO and FEEDER ROBOT. I ultimately chose PETLIBRO for a few reasons that are all listed in the pros below. I would still love to try the FEEDER ROBOT, but just canât justify the price tag ($300/each). I will update my review after a few months, but here are my initial impressions.Pros:-Modern aesthetic design-US based company-Minimal packaging waste/primarily recyclable-Easy to unbox and assemble-Easy to download app and connect-5ghz Wi-Fi connection (this is currently the only 5ghz Wi-Fi feeder available)-Back up battery compartment (3 Ds not included)-Works with food up to 15mm dia-Appropriate size for small dog or cat-Dispenses my freeze dried pellets (Feline Natural) without problem/crushing-Simple user friendly app-Easy to set up and modify feeding plan-You can feed as many portions as many times a day as you will ever need-Ability to turn off a feeding without deleting the programmed time.-The food hopper is designed very well to limit obstruction.-Ability to add voice-Pretty quiet (cats still come running out of a dead sleep)-Decent price-Metal bowl-easy to clean-Easy to disassemble (havenât tried cleaning it yet)-USB plug is nice for updated outlets that have USB ports-They do offer an insert with 2 bowls so you can feed 2 pets out of a single feeder instead of 1. I chose to buy 2 units because a lot of reviews stated the food was not split evenly across the 2 bowls.Cons:-Very lightweight plastic (can it be tipped overâ¦maybe)-I am not convinced itâs airtight-The metal bowl just sits on top of the plastic piece and doesnât snap into the plastic bowl holder. A cat could possibly pull the bowl out.-The bowl size/shape could be more cat friendlyâ¦the bowl should be wider to avoid whisker fatigue and elevated for feeding comfort-The cord is USB-c and attaches to the backside of the unit instead of the underneath so you canât push the unit flush against the wall. This may increase the likelihood your cat could tip it over.-I keep getting errors that the food chute is blocked but itâs not and the food is still dispensed properly. If one of my cats puts their paw in or around the chute this triggers the error and if food is being dispensed it stops.-if you are feeding multiple portions it takes a bit of time for the food portions to be dispensed. The rotor is pretty slow, so if your cat sticks their paw in there during dispensing it will stop. When traveling this could be a problem. Youâll have no way of knowing if they got the entire portion.So far I am really happy with the device. I am giving 5 stars based on first impression, but will update after a few business trips. It was one of the easiest set ups of any device that I have encountered.

TLDR; get the 5G WiFi Pet Feeder with APP Control model.I have a kitty with an eat disorder. He will gobble everything in one go if allowed. Now that he gets several small meal throughout the day, his appetite is smaller and he’s less stressed about food. In fact, sometimes he leaves uneaten food in the bowl!I initially bought the base model. I strongly advise upgrading to the 5G WiFi Pet Feeder with APP Control. Setting the schedule is much easier with the app, plus you get more than the 6 time slots the base model only gives. I also like that I can set a different schedule for the weekend, allowing me to sleep in without a hungry kitty harassing me to get up. It also has a higher capacity, so it doesn’t need to be refilled as often.One con is the app doesn’t work across multiple devices. I prefer to use my ipad, but it would be nice if I could check in using my phone when away,Apart from that, cat approved!

Funcional, buenos materiales, buen diseño, confiable.El producto cumple perfectamente con las especificaciones, es fácil de programar (solo hay que tener en cuenta que las porciones son de 20gr c/u), extra silencioso y ocupa muy poco espacio.Puede manejar croquetas de hasta 15mm, tiene pantalla touch que puedes bloquear y entonces no batallas con que tus mascotas presionen algo por error, de fácil limpieza. Definitivamente la mejor de su gama, bueno, bonito y barato.
