Great Smart Bulbs â Perfect for a Whole Room Night Light!
These Amazon Basics Smart Light Bulbs are easy to set up and work seamlessly with Alexa. I love how I can leave one on all night as a dim night light, saving energy while still lighting my space. The color-changing feature is a fun bonus! Excellent addition to my kitchen area!

Awesome light bulbs, easy set up
For some reason, someone decided when they redid my kitchen (a rental) to put in 6 flood lights for the lighting. Good Lord thatâs bright! I had switched them out to 45w bulbs which was awesome until they died and I couldnât find a replacement. Enter dimmable smart bulbs! I love that these are connected to Alexa! I am going to purchase some more regular bulbs to put through the rest of my house. As a woman who lives alone, being able to make it look like people are here when they isnât, is a big deal to making me feel more safe. Thank you Amazon!Ps. I had a bunch of Hue bulbs Iâm going to replace with the Amazon one because I donât need to hook up a stupid hub! AWESOME!

Fun but slightly annoying to set up
These are good products. Very well-made. However, the set up is quite annoying. I had to go through the entire process for four lightbulbs in one fixture. There should be a way when you put four bulbs into one light fixture to set them all up at once.

Works like it should
Pretty good bulb. Not as nice as a Philips but ultimately itâs easy to set up and has pretty decent color.

Smart bulbs
Don’t let the word basic throw you. These are great smart bulbs, better than basic, and they work perfectly with Alexa.

Get what you pay for
These didn’t work. First of all, they made a terrible buzzing noise when I turned on the switch, although I’m guessing that’s because I had them on a dimmer switch. If I could connect the lights to my wifi, I would have replaced the switch. That may have fixed the problem. The main problem was, I couldn’t set up the bulbs because they would not detect my wifi, despite the fact my Echo is already connected to the wifi. When searching for available wifi, it detected every single wifi signal from my neighbors, but not mine. Finally, these feel really cheap. Compared to philips hue, these feel like a feather. Also, for the few minutes I had them turned on during my failed attempt to connect, the bulbs were already hot.I knew i should have just got the Hue and paid the premium price for a fast better product.Returning these

Good quality
These bulbs work as described. These are replacement bulbs for a couple over one of my desks. The previous, other brand, bulbs last about 2 years. Will update this review once the bulbs have been in use for a while.Color changing and brightness works as advertised. These bulbs stay on at least 16 hours a day.

Not Worth the Hassle
I really wanted to like these lights, but there are just too many drawbacks to them.- The color range interface via Alexa is pretty limited. Instead of allowing you to free select any possible color (like Kasa) you are stuck with a fixed list of colors they decided- Even if you have your dimmer switches set to full power (because trust me, these lights don’t react well to being dimmed by a switch) you will still get flickers or buzzing in the lights depending on the color you choose and the brightness- You better put little plastic covers over all your light switches, because the minute anybody turns off a switch for any amount of time (instead of telling Alexa to turn the lights off), you are almost guaranteed to get a disconnect. This means that the light is stuck at a default color and brightness and you need to re-connect it via the app to make it functional again. Then of course you need to re-add the light to any groups you had in place (it doesn’t remember hurray!) and re-program any routines involving per light settings.Just way too much hassle for what should be a simple product. Stick to a more established brand.

Doesnât connect to wifi. Therefore doesnât connect to Alexa. Lighting is nice but wanted them to be fully function smart bulbs. Too expensive for them not to work
