stays on all the time if you want
Once I figured out how to keep it on all the time, my kitty loved it. She is 13 and on the small side. She sleeps in a pretty cold room and I see her in the bed all the time. It took a few tries to get the right temp, but she seems happy with it now and that makes me happy. No more standing on top of the register for her to wait for heat to come out.

My cats loves it, but it smelled awful for the first day
My little old cat has pretty bad arthritis, and I wanted to try out a heated bed to see if it made him more comfortable. It has helped a lot, and he likes it enough that heâll wail at me until I turn it on for him lol.The sides are thick and sturdy, and the material is soft. It heats up well, and it has a nice range of heat settings. Itâs automatically on a timer, and it will stay on up to 90 minutes if you choose that setting. The cable is reinforced with an outside cover, which is probably great if you have a cat or dog that likes to gnaw on cables.I think some people might think itâs a little small, but my cat really likes to curl up in spots just big enough, so itâs perfect for him.The main downside is the smell, and a minor downside is the way the settings work. It smells truly god awful when you first open it, and it continued smelling for a full day. However, after that first day, the smell was totally gone.When you turn it on, it automatically sets itself to the highest setting for the longest time. The highest setting is actually pretty hot, so I wish it would start at the lowest or mid-way just in case itâs ever turned on by accident.But even with the issues, I really like this cat bed. And more importantly, my cat loves it.

Cat uses it
My cute little kitten uses this bed, weather on or off, she curls up and sleeps. My only issue is it takes a bit to warm up and there is no 15 minute options, I do like it and she likes it to keep herself warm. I have no used it over setting of 4 as i think maybe it be too warm for her. Either way at end she uses me LOL

This is a nice little pet bed, for relatively small pets. Unfortunately, the materials used give off nasty aromas while heating.

12 x 9â sleeping size, for smaller cats.
So I took into consideration the size but what I didnât realize is how small it would be inside where the cats actually sleep. Inside the bed itâs 12â x 9â, which is perfect for small cats but a bit small for medium to large cats. My cat is 13 pounds and really canât fit all the way inside comfortably. That being said he did crawl into it and enjoyed the heat and fell asleep sitting up before he crawled into his larger bed. This would be excellent if it were larger, I really donât know how it could fit a an 18 lb animal like it says in the description. It says itâs for small to medium dogs and cats but I donât think any animal larger than 10 lbs would fit comfortably in this which eliminates any medium size dogs and large cats.The bed does seem well made but I actually thought the size was the inside dimensions. The heat timer also doesnât have an âalways onâ function and 90 minutes is the longest the timer will stay on which isnât as long as most heating pads I have used. Itâs also for inside use only according to the instructions.
