Awesome clippers!
When it comes to dog clippers, you pretty much get what you pay for. So, although these are expensive, they are awesome clippers! I have another Andis clipper that I have had for about 15 years now and they are still working just fine. But I can’t expect them to last forever, so I wanted a backup… and also to have another one handy for when the other one I have overheats, I can keep going and not have to stop to cool them down. (All clippers overheat.) The ones I bought 15 years ago, weren’t much less (cost wise) than these are. And what’s really nice about these compared to my other Andis clipper, is that these can be used corded or cordless. My other one is corded only. And Andis makes several size blades, to give you the exact length you are looking for. (It comes with a #10, which is 1/16″ or 1.5mm) I have several blade lengths, and being an Andis clipper, the blades are interchangeable. The clippers are a little on the heavy side, but that also shows the quality of the clippers. The quick release is also a plus for Andis clippers. I had another clipper brand that you had to unscrew everything to change the blade. This one you can pop off and pop on the blade. I can’t say enough good things about Andis clippers… they are the best!

Great clippers just wish it had attachments.
These clippers are great, and works really well for matted dogs or dogs with thick coats or long hair. The noise level is tolerable, and my dog doesnât seem to mind. It fits comfortably in hand. However itâs a bit heavy, heavy duty enough for dogs with thick coat. Battery run time is a little over an hour and charging I didnât really pay attention to because I plug them in and forgot about it.These clippers are professional grade and are on the expensive side. (Con) but worth the value if you want to save on grooming.Another con it doesnât come with any attachments.

Works great for my dogs paws
I use this pretty much exclusively for my dogs paws since she tends to get fungus when her hair grows too long. This works great and gets all the hair out of the creases in her paws. I donât use it for more than that so I canât speak to the big projects. The battery life is good and lasts more than I need it to. I donât need to worry about it nicking her skin and causing cuts. Definitely worth the price

Awesome clipper
This clipper is extremely well made. It feels great in my hand. It charged quickly and it isn’t really all that noisy. I have a professional trimmer already, but it is corded and quite a chore to get out and use. This nice looking light purple charger is charged up and ready to tackle most grooming chores. I am not a professional groomer, but I do have dogs that need occasional attention in the grooming department. This clipper will make it super easy to take care of those issues anywhere, not just within 6 feet of an electrical outlet. Plus, I LOVE the color.

Overpriced, clipper blade is part plastic
This Cordless Detachable Blade Dog Clipper by Andis works well. It does everything it claims to do. It is a powerful clipper. It can be used corded or cordless. It is comfortable to hold with slight finger grooves on the back side for increased comfort. But I have to say for a ~$300 price tag, I would expect more. While the blade is removeable, you only receive the single size 10 1.5mm blade. If you want to cut any other length, you have to spend even more money for additional blades. A very well-known clipper manufacturer has a cordless clipper that costs $100 less while featuring an adjustable blade capable of cutting five different lengths. And while this clipper is comfortable to hold, I found it a bit heavy. At just over one pound, it weighs almost twice as much as my other clippers. Finally, what was also disappointing was the blade head. Like all clippers, this clipper has two rows of teeth however unlike any other clipper I’ve used, this top row is made of plastic with only the bottom part of the blade stainless steel. I’ve never seen plastic used in part of a clipper blade and it’s disappointing such an expensive clipper would use any type of plastic. Because it does everything it’s supposed to do and it does it well, I’m only taking off one star, but I don’t’ think it’s worth the price.

Good for my pup!
I do not have a dog that really needs much grooming (a Labrador), but given the opportunity to try and review this item was good for him! He does tend to get long fur on his paws, and since he also deals with yeasty paws, keeping things trimmed for odor and cleaning it really helpful. I wouldn’t spend this much on this tool for that purpose alone, but for someone who grooms their dog regularly, or maybe even a professional?, this is a great product.

Professional grade clippers
I have used this brand of clippers for many years. I find that it is consistently synonymous with high quality. This clipper is no different. It is super powerful. It cuts through a quick coat quickly without heating up. I like that it can be used corded or cordless. Cordless it has an impressive runtime of one and a half hours. It does not come with blade attachments, but it works well for my purposes. Highly recommended.
