Great fit!
Great car seat, very safe. Has every safety feature you could need. Little ones seems much more comfortable on long car rides and loves the cup holders! The product is super easy to use and figure out as well. Great head support for babyâs of all ages.

Checks everything I needed

It’s a keeper.
I bought this carseat when my little one outgrew her infant seat. I drive a prius and every centimeter of space counts! I actually think 3 of these might fit across my tiny backseat. I have a huge baby (think 3 year old at half the age) and this still has plenty of space to grow with her.Pros — Comfort! My little one has never complained or seemingly suffered from a sore bum, even with 4 hours on the road. The seat is very plush and the thick head pads grow with your kiddo.- Cup hoooolders! It’s right there, folks. And they fold in. I have found the cup holders fit every brand of sippy I have.- Easy installation. I had no idea how to install this thing (we’re out of the realm of bases and clicking in now) and still managed to have it secured and adjusted in like 5 minutes.- Easy adjustments. So easy. I literally transitioned from rear to forward facing halfway through a trip. It was quick and easy. The headrest is the easiest to adjust, while the base acts allows you to adjust the recline of the seat.- Easy cleanup. I’ve found crumbs don’t tend to get under the holes for straps, and I can just brush out or vacuum food bits. I’ve had two liquid food spills and baby wipes took the stains right up. Supposedly the fabric can be removed and washed, but I can’t vouch for that or the process.- Has multiple install methods. Like the Graco infant seat I had before it, this car seat works with every kind of seat belt and the latch system.Cons — This is not for infants. It advertises being good at 5 lbs, but my daughter would’ve been utterly eaten by this thing with space for rolling around at that size. I definitely recommend an infant seat first.- It’s tall. The base that allows it to go between angles adds a little bit of height. It’s not really noticeable, but items dropped are out of reach of the child. May be a pro depending on what’s in your backseat.- The recline angles can be tricky. I could never get the rear facing to sit at the angle the seat wanted (it has the leveling tool built in), and now that it’s forward facing it reads that it’s perfect for rear facing. I’m left just going ????. My daughter seems comfortable so bah on it.That’s it. I’m blessed enough to not know how it holds up in a car accident but I am confident in its ability to keep my lil one safe. Unless you see an update to my review in a few years stating otherwise, this is the carseat I’ll have until my little one outgrows all seats and boosters.

Good option for smaller cars
Ok. So please forgive all of the pictures but when I was looking for new car seats seeing actual comparison pictures really helped me make my decision. We are upgrading from the Graco extend2fit car seat. I drive a 2015 Subaru crosstrek, the smallest of the Subaru crossover line. Middle seat room is important as there is a teenager in our house that sometimes needs to sit in the back for ull family outings (if I could do it all again, I would have just bought the minivan that I swore up and down we didnât need and I didnât want)Anyway, comparing the two seats side by side, you can see the the extend2fit sits on a bit of a higher base. The lack of armrest and the flip out cup holders do make the seat a bit slimmer on the slimfit. The back and headrest are similar on both seats but a difference that was noticable is the the back of the slimfit is a solid panel as opposed to the extend2fit with an open back. This difference is mearly cosmetic and they are both functional. The recline option is the same, the padding is the same, the wonderful sliding headrest to adjust height is the same (this is also my most favorite option on the Graco seats)The seat looks comfortable, the install for rear facing was straight forward; forward facing you have to remove the latch and slide it through the rear pass (didnât know that, called Graco and a tech walked me through it) I did get my hand fully stuck trying to get the latch through the rear pass but thatâs water under the bridge at this point. The seat seems a bit lighter than the extend2fit but this is a heavy seat, this is not a great choice if you move car seats on a regular basis or want to lug it through the airport.I love that all of the padding is removable and machine washable, I donât love that without the infant seat insert there are a ton of cracks and slips through the fabric for animal crackers and gummy snacks to migrate to.All in all, this is a sturdy, well built seat that does become a booster (which is a bonus that I wonât need another car seat for the kids down the road)TL;DRThe seat doesnât seem much smaller than extend2fit but itâs nice. Installation was ok. 10/10 would buy again.

Great car seat!
We spent a lot of time researching car seats and found this one at the top of the list. We were a bit nervous about its size as we have a Chevy Malibu but it fits no problem! It was also one of the easiest car seats to install that we have had over the last 7 years for our children. Not having to rethread the straps to adjust them is also amazing! Little guy seems to be comfortable in it as well.

The car seat feels well built and solid. Itâs also easy to carry my child in and out the seat. One thing probably to improve is that for front facing , should consider an additional tilt level. Now my boys take a nap instead of lying back, the whole body lean forward cause itâs too straight.
