But my cat who gets mats if I just look at her roughly, is my guinea pig while I learn.The clippers are easy to hold and and even though they aren’t light in weight, they are very easy to hold and grip. I would say they are balanced well as I didn’t struggle with holding them.The clippers aren’t silent, but not loud at all. My cat did flinch when I first turned them on, but other than being a bit wary of what I was doing, she didn’t try to run. The sound didn’t frighten her.There is no instructions included, other than some pictures that show you how you should be storing the clippers and letting you know not to wrap the cord around the clipper when you put it away. There is also a picture showing the oil bottle, the number 1, and then 15 minutes. So I think that was to tell me to oil the blade every 15 minutes of use, using 1 drop of oil.Included with the clippers is a brush, a small bottle of oil and an adapter for the plug. I don’t know what country the adapter is for, but the one for the United States is on the clipper.These seem like a very high quality clipper. The name Wahl is a brand I am very aware of. And even not knowing how to use these as well as I could, they did work perfectly fine for me. I am sure in time I will perfect my skills.

Great Clippers, No Instructions, Shorter Cord
Wahl Pro Animal KM2+ Corded Clipper (2 Speeds & 14-Foot Cord, Pink, Brand: the Wahl Store)- No instructions, not nice. Thankfully I have some experience behind me. Can you imagine, excited to try grooming your own pet and the clippers you receive have no instructions. None at all on how to remove the blade or if you should or what to do. Ummm, not nice. Second thing I noted, was the lack of a 14-foot cord; mine was roughly 8ft. Third thing noted, no magic matt clipping away. You still need to get bad matts out by hand. The body is lightweight and easy to grip. It’s not loud. I was able to hold a conversation on the phone while using them. The doodle dog was afraid of them though. And I am not sure why. My other well-known name brand clippers are around the same decibel level, but higher speeds. It doesn’t come with any combs, but a standard 10 is attached. Without instructions you’re going to need a video on how to switch it out. Performance wise though it was great. It actually performed better than the aforementioned professional clippers. I use cooling spray and oil as needed, usually 15 minutes clipping and 10 minutes off. These appear and perform great at trimming my doodles long hair. I used my own clipper combs. I’d recommend these to a novice. Just keep in mind you should seek out instructional use beforehand.

Wahl wins again!
This is the second set of Wahl clippers I’ve owned. I only got this one because my bunny chewed the power cord on my original. This did not disappoint! I have a shih-poo and a golden retriever that I groom myself. This does everything from paws, faces, and ears, to bodies. I have a set of steel guards, also purchased from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002RBWL1G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=10), that work perfectly with these, too. The clippers are super sturdy, and while there is some weight to the body, it’s not too heavy. It comes with a small bottle of oil, but you will need more, as well as coolant unless you want to stop and let your blade cool every 5-10 minutes. With cooling spray, I can groom my shih-poo all at once. If I don’t use the coolant, I have to stop quite a bit and it just draws out the process. This is pretty standard for clippers and I have yet to find a blade that TRULY doesn’t heat up. If you’re using guards, it’s also not much of an issue, but for face, paw, and sanitary trim areas where you may just have a bare blade, you will want to ensure the blade isn’t hot.The price on these is great. I’ve definitely seen lower quality clippers at higher price points. I absolutely believe these are worth their current price ($129.99), even without any extras. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, a self-taught home groomer like myself, or a beginner, these are worth every penny.

My dog never lets me use electric clippers because of the volume. He freaks out and I’m forced to cut him manually. These clippers are quiet enough that he will let me use them on him without him flinching or running away. Just that alone makes it worth it to me. It’s very easy to use, the trims are clean, and the pink color is gorgeous.

Quiet, Sturdy, Goes Right through Thick Hair!
We confess, the dog barely tolerates these Wahl Pro Animal KM2+ Corded Clippers, but he does tolerate them. They are reasonably quiet, which might be why we did not have to struggle with him.They were set at a length that works for the ‘under shaves’ I do on my Pomeranian mix. Otherwise, his fur grows to the ground and he cleans the streets and collects a lot of debris. I oiled them before I used them for the first time.These glided through his hair with no problems, even where it is the most dense. (He does not have mats, but I am sure these could handle them.) They did not scare him, and they did not stall out like a previous generic set I bought. I think it took all of four minutes to trim him, comb, and then clean up a couple of missed hairs.I love how long the cord is- I can sit on the floor with pup in my lap, facing up, and trim away without having to use an extension cord or move the dog around. Okay, I confess, I also love the pretty pink and know that my male dog just does not care, even though my husband does.

Inconsistent advertised product vs what you actually get
Iâm sure the clippers are great, still going to keep them. The issue is the promo images saying that you get a kit with additional parts when in reality you donât.
