Its like Magic
I have an older house without neutral wires so I could not use many of the smart hook ups. Amazon wifi plug is great for outlets but this product Melpo Alexa light bulbs allows me to control bulbs in lamps and ceiling fixtures via my Alexa devices. We no longer have to fumble for switches in the dark or leave lights on at night for safety or go back through the house to turn off lights in another room when the kids leave them on. I can also adjust the brightness level and the color temperature (eg soft white or bright white + many others). Note that you have to have an Alexa enabled device within ~ 15-20 ft to hook it into the system but once hooked and activated with Alexa you can control the bulbs from any Alexa- I turn on upstairs bedroom lights from my downstair kitchen. You can group bulbs if you have a 2 bulb fixture. The BrMesh app is great once you get the hang of it. You can also control all light via any device with the Alexa app. The LED watt equivalent is so small you can use these bright bulbs in older fixtures. I installed 8 and just bought another 8. Innovation at its best

Easy to connect.
They arrived on time (next day) and were SUPER easy and fast to get set up. The app is user friendly and getting these light bulbs connected to my Alexa was fast and simple. Being able to connect multiple lights to the app at the same time is a huge plus! I really hate connecting things one at a time. The color range is fantastic. 5 of the 8 bulbs I purchased are in the basement, so having the “daylight ” option was a must have. They are bright and beautiful in my super dark and creepy basement. The other 3 lights are being used in the living room. The multiple levels of warm light is really nice. It allows us to have a bright and warm atmosphere when the family is together and then we can dim the lights for a calm evening while getting cozy on the couch. I’m very happy and will be purchasing more to replace our standard bulbs throughout the house. 10/10 would recommend.

Stoped Working
The light bulbs themselves work well. You can control the temperature and the brightness using the app. HOWEVER, the connection with Alexa doesn’t last. After a couple months of being connected to Alexa, the lights stop responding. I had Alexa rediscover the lights a couple of times and less than a year later, she no longer is able to rediscover them at all. Such a waste of money!!!! All I have are expensive light bulbs instead of smart light bulbs.

Set up was a little frustrating, Alexia did not find all of the the lights for setup. She found two out of the first four tried, could not find the third and fourth lights. The ones connected to Alexia work great, the other two work off of the app.

Best Bulbs Ever!
No App to download to set up the bulbs and then link to your Alexa App you donât even have to reset the bulb. Just screw it in turn on the light tell Alexa to find new device and boom itâs done! This will be the brand I buy from now on.

Not perfect, but definitely excellent.
They’re plenty bright. The color temperature adjustability is great. Setup was mostly a breeze. Although the iOS app crashed the first time I added a light, it still added it, and everything worked fine after that.The fact that these are controlled via Bluetooth is a huge selling point. I don’t have to worry about tons of devices choking my network. I can also change my WiFi password without having to reconfigure my entire house. I wish more ‘smart’ devices used Bluetooth.My only gripe would be that when controlled by Alexa at least, all transitions in brightness or color are extremely jarring and abrupt. I’d much prefer it if they did a slow crossfade between settings. The entire experience would feel much more natural and fluid. This is not a huge problem, however – certainly nothing that would make me regret the purchase.

These LED lights are great. It comes with 4 light bulbs & 2 remote controls. The remote controls are easy to use and have a variety of colours and functions for the lights. The only minor thing Iâm not completely satisfied with is the ânormalâ light setting is too warm for me (more yellow instead of white) and I donât find it bright enough, even at the max brightness. Other than that, if you really wanted colourful LED light bulbs, itâs a good purchase for you.

I bought these as they have a remote and were a 4 pack. while the regular bulb setting is bright enough to read its not as bright as it could be. The bulb has the option of changing colour; you can use the remote to set it and also has a timer so it will shut off after an hour as well; that option I really like as I change from normal light to a various color before bed and it shuts off after I’ve fallen asleep. You can also use the remote on more than one bulb, I have not tested this using them in the same room; but works in seperate rooms I’ve found. These would be helpful for kids that like a dim glow or night light as a parent you could use the remote and set it to shut off after an hour.

I highly recommend these led bulbs. I am using these in various locations in my home. For example, they have enhanced the mood of the kitchen. I also use diretional multi coloured light bulbs (3watts) in my kitchen pot lights, and they are amazing mood setter.I would estimate they give off approximatly 30-40 watts of incandescent bulb equivalent (altho they say 20w)These provide a wonderful ambience to my big kitchen, and I can turn up and down, on or off, using the remote. The remote is intuitive and easy to figure out. The bulbs do not get hot, and only use 3watts!…. Now I have multiple of these around the kitchen and love the fact that I am using less than 100watts for all the light bulbs in my kitchen.Also my kids and their friends are fascinated by these âdifferentâ bulbs and are imaginative.I liked these so much, I bought morelight bulbs and now have those in various (low light) lamps around my home, further adding to the ambience by changing the mood lighting.. There is no doubt, colour enhances the specific mood and context!I canât wait when they start making higher wattage/more lumens output bulbs… for now this is awesome to be on the forefront usig these low wattage led bulbs (and yes, I am noticing a difference in my homeâs energy consumption using led bulbs and smart thermostats; no doubt I am using less and spending less month to month on home energy bills)…
