Awesome smart bulb, different light modes and control it on,off or colour change using your Alexa echo devices. Very easy to pair using the Alexa app.

Cool toy for the kitties
First bulb works fine. Second one, for a different room, only worked for a day. The support phone number provided with the bulb is disconnected BUT Amazon took the return and sent another bulb. So far, so good. If you have cats or kids, the app really makes it easy to amuse them with changing the colors and brightness. Yes, anything to amuse the kitties is always a success in our home.

WIFI Issue. Had to change router settings.
I like some others couldnât get this light to connect to my wifi using Alexa. And YES, it needs wifi regardless what some have said. But it should get the password from Alexa from when you set up your Echo. If it asks you over and over again for your wifi password during setup, but then fails, your router settings may need changed. At first I couldnât connect this bulb. After I gave up I then tried to connect a Ring camera and I had the same issue. Ring wouldnât connect to my wifi. This bulb needs a 2.4GHz connection on your wireless router. Ringâs troubleshooting helped me. I made three changes to my settings. I simplified my 2.4GHz ID and Password. Took out all special characters. Only used numbers and uppercase and lowercase characters. Third thing I changed, and what I believe solved my problem, was that I changed my router channel from âautoâ (which at the time it was using channel 2) and I switched the channel setting to â6â. Per Ringâs help guide, it suggested using channels 1, 6 or 11. Also, before I made these changes I had switched my Echo from the 5GHz connection to the 2.4GHz connection. After making those three changes the Sengled light bulb connected using the Alexa app and never asked for wifi connection or password. It was automatic. My Ring connected also after changing my router settings.I hope this helps someone else.

Vibrant, Smart, and Easy to Set Up! âââââ
The Sengled LED Smart Light Bulb (A19) is an outstanding addition to my smart home setup. The Matter-enabled technology ensures seamless compatibility with Alexa and other smart systems, and the instant pairing feature made setup a breeze. The multicolor options are vibrant, and the 800LM brightness is perfect for any room. Itâs also energy-efficient while delivering the equivalent of a 60W bulb. The ability to customize colors and dimness adds a fun and practical touch, whether for mood lighting or everyday use.Highly recommend this smart bulb for its reliability, versatility, and ease of use. Itâs a great value for upgrading your home lighting!

Annoying and hard to reconnect but is fine
Lightbulb blasted about a week before disconnecting from my Alexa. By that time, I didnât have the box still and they put a tiny QR code with a numerical code. Do identify the item in your app, but the QR code is so small and the light has to be on in order for it to be set up so it was impossible to even get a good angle for the QR code and even taking the product out with just your phone. It was so small my phone was unable to scan it had to put in the 12 numerical code several times often having to take my lamp apart to re-input the numbers also all my devices in my house are connected on the same network, but this light bulb must be on a 2.4 network so if that has a different network name then other devices in your household, it will not work well with other devices or will disconnect on its own randomly. Also, I found this product confusing because it has two brands named on it so I downloaded both brands apps trying to figure out which one worked with Alexa and which one would connect. Learn from my mistakes and follow the instructions on here rather than the ones on the box when you get it.

Good bulb
Got this as part of a bundle when I got a new echo dot and it’s been a really good light. It cycles through colors quickly, works well with Alexa, and doesn’t pull too much power. No complaints at all!

Finally figured it out
At first I did get sengled smart bulb to work on Alexa but after one day it went into the unresponsive mode. I kept trying to pair following troubleshooting instructions and Google. It said to get another code from another app which was confusing. So I gave up and put in a return for my bulbs. Then a few days passed and I decided to give one more try. And the kicker is that after no success the first time I started to utilize the Amazon smart plug for my lights in home. So when I re-paired the Sengled smart bulb along with the Amazon smart plug it worked perfectly and no issues/ it just creates another light in the app for that particular light. And also the other thing is that you have to make sure you reset the bulb to the original state before trying to pair it again when the lamp is plugged into the amazon smart plug. I did this with 3 already. And another thing it did was the smart bulbs also says Connected Via echo dot that I have upstairs, which is paired with another Smart bulb that is the Amazon smart bulb brand and not Sengled. Which is so weird because it worked perfectly from the start. Iâm also wondering with me having the Amazon smart Bulb paired with my Alexa app does that what makes the Sengled smart bulbs work perfectly this time. Not sure but it is something to think about. Also the new lights in the Alexa app populates the 11 digit code under the settings for the new light, which didnât do that on my first attempt to troubleshoot, but I didnât need the new codes which expire after 15 minutes of populating. The Sengled bulbs connected using the Amazon smart plug and possibly because of me also having an Amazon Smart Bulb paired to Alexa as well.Hope Iâm not confusing but it all blew my mind when I tried again before shipping back. ð
