Nice and warm!
I needed this to place on one of my cat trees in a room that is cold. I set the timer and the temp. and no more worries that my cats are cold if they go in that room. I love it. Soft cover, substantial cord, works great! I highly recommend. Good price.

Outstanding Outdoor Car Warmer
Most of the electric animal blankets/bed/bed pads that I have purchased over the years don’t have a 24-hour time option like this Gasur pet heating blanket. As we are on a farm, we get quite a few feral cats; the mama’s have regular litters. We cannot do anything about that; however, we can offer a warm place during the extreme cold temperatures. This Gasur offers not only options to set the timer from 1â24-hour periods but also allows a variety of temperature settings. It is a perfect size, and I like the thickness of the heating pad cover. The heating pad cover removes easily for cleaning. The feral cats do a wonderful job of keeping out property pretty much rat/mouse/critter free. This heating pad is our way of giving back for round-the-clock pest control. We are going to be purchasing more, now that we know how good the quality and features on this pad are.

Cozy new spot for old dog
My dog loves to bake herself in sunny spots outside, probably because she’s getting arthritis at 12 years old. As it’s gotten colder, letting her sunbathe outside is not an option, so I bought this heating pad. It took a bit for her to come around to it, being lured with treats to discover it emenates soothing warmth. When I put it in her favorite spot next to our couch, she’s become a heating pad convert. She’s always on it during the day, curled up and cozy. I like that I can remove the cover to wash it. It is set to a comfortable temperature and I only have to turn it on once and its default is 12 hours. Very pleased with this item, and my dog is too!

A good product for it’s intended use
Can’t speak directly for the cat but she took to the heating pad within minutes after setting it up and completing the preheating function. Setting up is very easy with the directions included and changing the heat and time is a snap. Couple of considerations though. First, the material that covers the actual heating pad is fairly thin so I placed a light inexpensive fleece throw (from Walmart) over the heating pad. I did this because my cat kneads a lot and the cover may not withstand this over time. Plus it keeps the heat from dissipating. Secondly, I would recommend starting the heat temperature lower than the default 120 degrees. That may be a bit too high initially for a good comfort level. I think it would be better to select a higher setting, if needed, rather than go down in degrees. All in all, a good product, easy to use, warms up quickly, good size and the intended user seems to like it during the cold winter nights. Recommended.

The plastic smell is intolerable and per page 1 of the User Guide it takes weeks to fade away. This ought be disclosed upfront because many pet owners purchasing an item like this do so for an immediate need. It also ought be disclosed up front because it negates the value of it being deliverable the next dayâa reason we selected it. Lastly, pets with a stronger sense of smell and whoâll be on top of it heated likely would be enduring the odor longer and canât imagine itâs healthy to be breathing it in for extended times either.

Works well but gets hot
I ordered the extra large and it is huge, which I needed. The temperature is adjustable and I started at 100° for feral cats in a shed, which is recommended. One cat tried it a few times but kept leaving it. One cat snuggled in but then kept flopping around like he was uncomfortable. I felt under a blanket and the temp was way too hot. I am down to 85° and will watch, and may go lower. This is why it is very important if you have a heating pad, to give the animal room to be off the pad or half on and half off, if in a cat bed or shelter box. My other heating pads are pre-set at a 100° and seem to be fine. I think this one runs really hot and you need to use care to get it set properly! BTW, you can leave it on despite reviews that say it stays on a maximum of 24 hours. The 25th setting is “on.”

Warm enough for outdoor shelters
I bought this to use in one of the outdoor shelters I have set up in my yard for feral cats that come by to eat. At 8° it felt warm , to the touch. Perfect to keep outdoor feral cats from freezing. The controls were easy to use and the pad was of nice thickness and quality.
