WORKS LIKE A CHARM!
I have had these for a year. They just work! Mine are attached to gutter mounts and have survived a hurricane and a tropical storm. I also have 4 other Eufy cameras for a total of 6. They are on the 4 corners of my house, inside the garage and on my lanai. They were super simple to set up. The HomeBase 3 saves money compared to cloud storage and it can be accessed from your phone anywhere in the world. The software with the cameras is good. It is easy to monitor real time or look back at previously recorded video. The software is easy to navigate and make changes to individual cameras. I couldn’t be happier with my Eufy cameras.

Not completely reliable
Update: Sept 5, 2024After 1 year of usage*Super unreliable software upgrade.** Mobile app does not show motion detection on the events tab consistently.**Super unreliable support staff (takes 24 hr after each email communication (with each reply of just one question or answer) no consistent communication.***Super unreliable system as a whole.May be good only until the warranty period.If you think you are saving money with no monthly payment and securing your home (just wait until your warranty expires) they will treat you worse than a 3rd world country customer service staff. It has been over a week and they have not been able to figure out why and how all of my cameras stopped showing the motion detection on the event tab of the phone (after the recent update). They don’t accept the responsibility of their software update error rather assume on whether the camera was fully charged etc?As a security system: your job should be to make your customer feel secure; if you fail on that — you have failed yourself, not us. Customer can always fire you by buying another product of another reliable brand. And, thanks for your slowest customer service.—————————————————– The review below was reviewed previously (previous year)It is a 5 star product but 1 star less for not customer friendly customer service. 1 star less for inconsistent service and video quality when we zoom the video.The BAD:It’s well designed and built with some defects.1. Camera shows connected but fails to detect motion consistently (1 to 2 times) each month. Not just 1 camera but all. There was no videos for motion detected events two days straight.2. Anti theft alarm does not work unless someone completely screws off the camera and starts to shake it off. I thought my 1 camera was like that and got the replacement but it turns out ALL cameras are dumb like that.3. Replacement was sent with prepaid USPS label, my work schedule did not work with USPS schedule and I asked if I could get UPS label but I was TOLD to drop it today to avoid the warranty. I had to praise his customer service skills.4. Image/ Video is only good when it is not zoomed in. Even in just 4X zoom it cannot even see the face properly (forget 8X zoom) but the way it is advertised is you can even see a grain.5. Very low level alarm sound. Only thief shaking the camera (not unscrewing the camera – because camera don’t make noise until you shake it) will hear it. There was a cable guy installing the cable in my house, he accidently hit the camera and it turned upside the alarm was so low I did not hear inside the house and only realized after 30 mins of Installation was completed.Now The GOOD:1. Motion detection is quiet good if installed properly – it works.2. Night vision is good- but battery drains fast if used in color night vision mode3. Easy installation4. No monthly fees. But it has its cost. I ended up using professional monitoring service also because this is not fully reliable.

Very good camera system, could be a bit cheaper
I have these cameras for about a week now. I must say they are very clear,much better quality than the blink.I like that app recovers from looking an alert and moving to a live view.. the blink is not good at that which led me to seek another system.You would get an alert and the live view would take a long time to load the people would be gone, the eufy does a great job at that.Now motion sensor does seem to work the way I like them to work. I added a picture of the booklet that says it will sense motion until you are in a certain area, i wish this could change. I know it would give a lot a false things but would be nice to see if you had an intruder or guest before they were that close to you house.I added a short video yo show how clear the cameras are, it did not pick that motion up i had to record manually. The blink picked it up.The sound and talking is okay, works fine i can hear conversations from a good distance honestly.I really like system it was an easy setup, charging is going well with the solar which is awesome and i only get a few hours of sun and its working, just the motion is not where i would like it. (I mean if an alien ship were to fly by i would like to have captured it 😁)

I have owned wired and wireless systems from other brands in the past . This system is my favourite so far. The overall setup of the wifi and base in the house was simple and took less than 10 minutes. Cameras connected quickly and so did the setup. Outside installation was a breeze, I was in and out for 4 cameras in less that 30 minutes and was able to pick any location due to wireless connectivity.The AI face recognition and camera video quality is also amazing… and NO monthly fees, how can you go wrong.Got these on sale but honestly would have been happy at full price now that they are up

There are plenty of wifi home security cameras on the market, prob even cheaper, however went with Eufy, as they have a great brand and been around for a while, and so far, im not dissapointed.I have 6x camera’s (eufyCam 3 with Solar Panel) operating with a (Homebase 3). Went with 6x camera’s as we have detached home, and this covers pretty much all the angles for our home.If you’re evaluating how many camera’s, think about what you want to be covered.Just to give you an idea we have2x on the Front Door side (just bcos we have trees in the way),1x garage, (facing the street)1x side of the side (facing the street)1x backside of the house1x in the garden (on the back fence pointing towards the house)One of the best things about Eufy, is the event detection.You can configure what notifications you want to get setup, and it does a good job of recognizing faces, onces its been trained with faces.Setup is easy, you will need a drill (hammer drill if drilling in to brick) with a 5/6mm drill bit, thewall plugs and screws come in the kit. (Pro tip – use a bit of painters masking tape to translate the mount holes to the tape > then tape to surface > then drill through – works like a charm)Setting up the homebase and Pairing the camera’s is super easy, as well as configuring alerts and notifications etc, very configurable.Its been approx 3month since the camera’s have been up – after fully charging the camera’s and mounting, 4x of the camera’s are at 91-100% charge (these ones get good sunlight), 1x camera is on 65%, this cam was in the 90-100% range, however as the sun angle has changed, and placement of the camera its getting a little less now, and the last (6th) cam is at 39% – this one gets no sun, but given the amount of activity it tracks, im pretty impressed, that after approx 3m, theres a good chunk of charge left on it.Battery life also depends on the activity you configure it to track, and i have it tracking everything, so its constantly working.All in all, highly recommend this kit!
