Fun and cool features. This does not fit my flagship phone with case
This is a fun device. I was disappointed to see that it will not hold my flagship phone with a thin case on it, but without the case it holds my phone pretty securely and works pretty well. My phone may still be a little big for the gimbal but it works. To get the most out of the gimbal you need to use an app. In the app are some pretty nifty features like a panorama mode, face following, time lapse and more. There is also some access to tutorials and the product manual as well.The movement is smooth and will hold the phone steady as you are moving around, the face following feature is nice, but would occasionally loose track while I was testing it’s limits. For regular use it should be pretty good.The fill lights are appreciated and work well enough the built in ring light has several levels of brightness. The oval fill light is just OK. It is quite light, can attach to the phone clip, or some other metal surface with magnets. It has a few different colors and modes, but not a whole lot. The picture in the listing of the multi-colored face of the light is not what you get. I doubt I will use that light at all, it is not quite what I was hoping for.I would have preferred a different way to secure your phone. The clip would not work for some larger or thicker phones, but they could have. But overall it is a pretty good gimbal. I have been having fun using it. It is light weight and folds up nicely. I would certainly recommend this.
