Great price and even better product
Very easy to set up and to use the app. Easy to take apart and clean. I also like that the bowl is stainless steel. Took a little time for my cats to not get startled by the auto feeder but now they know that when they hear the sounds it means more food!

Good feeder and perfect size
I was not compensated in any way for this review. Feeder was shipped using Prime and arrived in 2 days. The unit is small and functional and we bought it to feed a feral cat that hangs out around our house when we travel. I connected it to my wifi and followed the instructions provided in the manual. Set up was fairly easy. We set it up in a cat box we have outside on our deck and it fit perfectly. Also secured it with bungee cords so it doesnât fall over or when the neighborhood raccoon decides to come visit. A Velcro belt came with the unit to secure the cover and it is tightly fitted. Food dispenses on time with scheduled feedings. We also made sure the size food wasnât too big as it may get stuck according to what was advised in manual. We have a mix of meow mix and temptations dry food and there were no issues with food getting stuck. We also tested the feeder using the manual feed option when we were away from home and there were no connection issues. I can say this feeder is a good value and quality is good. Since it has only been a few days we hope it will last for a long time without having any problems.Update October 13:Unit continues to work great dispensing dry food with no wifi connection issues when we are away from home.Update December 7:Feeder still works amazing. Still no connectivity issues. Gives me comfort knowing I can feed kitty when traveling. The auto feed and manual feed still works great. Neighborhood hulk raccoon showed up recently and tried to open canister but was unsuccessful. For added security I added small pieces of tape to lid but the Velcro alone works fine.

Update: Great feeder for the price
After talking to the manufacturer, Iâm updating my review. Iâm going from 3 stars to 4 stars. Iâll explain why I canât go to 5 stars though. First and foremost, they have great customer service. Very responsive and helpful. So donât worry about that, youâre in good hands if you buy this product. After using it for about 1 month I can say that overall itâs a very good feeder, especially when you consider all the features included at this price point (which is much lower than most competitors). The camera quality is quite good. Night vision too. Motion detection works great. The app is functional and fairly easy to figure out after you play with it a little bit. The feeder is well-built and holds a decent amount of food, and the rotating mechanism that dispenses the food never binded up. It worked every time. So that was great! My original reason for giving it 3 stars was that, in my opinion, one big drawback was the fact that the camera is positioned to view straight out from the feeder. The means that you canât see the bowl. So you canât see how much your pet is eating, and this was important for me. I wanted to monitor that. However, depending on how/why you are using this feeder, and your petâs eating habits, that might not be as critical for you. If itâs not, then the wide field of view of the room would be beneficial for you. If thatâs the case then this is probably even a 5-Star feeder for you. So it just depends on what you need. It should be noted that most of the feeders on Amazon are similar to this and donât show the feed bowl. Some do, but most donât. And the ones that do sacrifice overall view of the room obviously. So you kinda get one or the other, lol. But for the price, as long as the camera position doesnât bother you, this feeder canât be beat. I also want to note that during my discussions with the manufacturer, they mentioned they have another model coming out (or maybe itâs already out) that does have a camera angled so that you can see the bowl. So you will have both options.

We have a cat that lives around our home. He was captured and fixed, but lives outdoors. We were going away and having been leaving out some food daily, I worried about him not having any. Weâve had this set up for over a month now. It works perfectly. I can feed from my phone. I use a separate ring camera to see when itâs empty. It holds a lot of food and was easy to set up. I recommend it.

Actually Alexa Compatible!!!
Most feeders say they are Alexa compatible, but they are not. I tried three prior to this one, and they were smart feeders with an app that linked to Alexa, but not Alexa compatible. Their cameras were available through Alexa, but not the feeder funtion. I wanted to be able to say ALEXA FEED THE CAT, and this one does it. Granted there is no camer, but it’s worth the trade. When my gat is hungry at 5am, I don’t have to get out of bed, I just asked Alexa to do it for me. App also works, but I don’t use it often.Great device, would recommend to anyone who likes smart devices, with timer, and proportion control.

Itâs a good feeder, just some minor issues.
I do like this product. Itâs nice and so are the portions. I donât have a way to plug it in outside so I am using the battery option. I bought brand new batteries and it stopped working the next day. This is for my outside cat, the feeder is completely covered so it wonât get wet from rain or anything. Can anyone help me with why it stops working? I even changed the batteries out again. It turned on for maybe 20 minutes and then stopped again.

UPDATE:The new feeder Papifeed sent arrived, and I am in love! My cats are loving it, too. The set up was easy (literally I thought âwait thatâs it?â during set up), and it works seamlessly with Alexa and my Echo devices! Holds a lot of food for the size, and it is quiet too! 100/10 recommend this product AND Papifeed!So my package which had this in it was stolen off of my front step before I had gotten home (big sad), and I was bummed. Then I saw Papifeed had messaged me inquiring about the refund (Amazon issued one) and if I had any suggestions about making their products better (that alone impressed me). After explaining my situation, I was immediately given an email to contact regarding my ordeal. After a couple emails, Papifeed already has one shipping to my house. For one, what an incredible seller. For two, the product must be good if they didnât want me missing out on it. Overall, though my package was stolen, Papifeed made my experience 10/10!I will update once the pet feeder arrives, with the real product review 𤩠(4/5 stars because I donât have the actual product yet).

Bought it to use outdoors and was hoping to be able to use batteries but doesnât work properly, seems to drain 2 out of the 4 batteries within a days so loses Wi-Fi connecting and timing therefore is useless if you donât have it plugged in at all times.

I received this on Sunday and decided to test it running on batteries only (energizer). It worked fine, but the batteries lasted from Sunday at 3:30pm until about Tuesday morning at 3:51am (based on the phone notification telling me it was offline). So only use batteries as a failsafe backup (and clearly, buy rechargeable).This was easy to setup and set up a feeding schedule after doing some manual feeds to gauge what amount of food it considers a portion.They could improve on the phone app by allowing the owner to change the little picture in the app to a different animal (a dog is all that is there with no ability to change), and they should consider sending a charger and power cable that matches the feeder; I ordered a black feeder and received a bright white charger and power cable.Putting this feedback here now, and we’ll see how it continues over time
