Great for new litter
U have to make sure velcro is 100% in tact and evenly placed and the puppy will outgrow it or it will get dirty before it wears out. They worked perfectly for my litter of 13 puppies, but bc they grew so fast and collars got nasty fast, I needed to replace within a week. So I wud suggest to buy more than what u need. They are washable but if u don’t cut long enough and velcro cannot be placed evenly and on the entire inch to 1.5 inch surface, then debri will cling to it, rendering the velcro useless.

Quality and Comfort
I have used these with multiple litters of puppies. The colors are vibrant and they work amazingly. We loved being able to easily track the puppies and make sure they were all growing at the right rate. They are very durable and the puppies were comfortable wearing them from birth on.

Purchased as car collars
My cat hates collars and scratches every collar Iâve ever gotten for her to death! But I ran across these and thought.. hmmm maybe this will work. They do! Excellent. Cheap and very light so I donât think she feels it. Very glad I found what works!

Decent, but doesn’t last long
They do what they say they do, good color selection. However, unless you align the velcro up exactly (very difficult with a wiggly puppy), it sticks to something else and pulls off. Or if fur or dirt gets inside the velcro, it doesn’t stick anymore. I’ve gone through 2 to 3 collars each for our new born puppies in just the first week of welping. I will be buying something different next.

Great way to keep track of your individual puppies.
I liked being able to color code each puppy. Actually named each pup by a color and then let owners pick final name. Seemed like as the puppies grew they tugged at each others collars. You may want to keep an eye on that . One of my puppies actually ingested and passed a collar. So I took electrical zip ties and fastened the rest. Velcro did not seem to be enough.

Great tags for the newborn puppies
These tags work great to help identify the newborn puppies, but now that they’re larger and don’t use it or fit in it, not that sure if it was really necessary.

Work great, stays on with play
We here at Golly-G LOVE these collars. Easily adjustable as our German shepherd puppies age and will give way with hard play but stay on with regular play. We have to put one back on a puppy about once a week but thatâs fine. The Velcro makes resizing it easy peasy.

Absolutely horrible collars and waste of money
These collars are total garbage. They have very inconsistent Velcro, in that some have 2 inches, some have less than one inch of Velcro area. Because of this, some collars will not stay attached no matter how much effort is put into pressing the ends together. The Velcro area is also VERY weak. The weakest Velcro I’ve ever experienced. Velcro operates by having little hooks that grab, but this has no hooks at all. Two pieces of felt will hold together about as well as this collar will. We used them to identify puppies in a litter of six. Every day we find a collar in the whelping box that has fallen off of a puppy. Stay away from this junk product and get something that works better.

Itâs been a week since I put them on my kittens. They never came off. You may have to cut it short to get the perfect size. The kittens are not uncomfortable by these Velcro bands and the colours are very flattering. Overall itâs a go-to product. I would totally recommend to anyone. 10/10

Quite durable the velcro can get little bits of fluff in it and come apart but other than that very soft and comfortable, needs to be wrapped around the puppies neck twice for newborns, but this did not pose any issues at all, remember to check the puppies neck everyday for possible adjustments to the collar puppies grow quickly, overall I’m very satisfied with this product it has made keeping track of the puppies very easy

We had a litter of 6 tiny puppies. Super easy to cut to size needed. Nice and light. Puppies barely noticed having them on. Our puppies were just a 1, 2, 3 pounds, very tiny.

These are great. I’m giving a detailed review with “Things to consider” simply because I didn’t consider the things below prior to purchase and I find it frustrating when searching for products to see lower ratings due to buyers just not having realistic expectations.Cons firstLost a star due to the fact that it says for whelping in description and should only be used after 1 week of age. Otherwise, they are as one might expect if their expectations are realistic. They are way too long for even extra large breed puppies up until the length of time they can be used. As only one end has velcro, a long “Tail” will come out the top which makes them easy for their little feet to push / pull off each other during the feeding frenzies. To consider prior to purchase:These collars can only really be used until 3 weeks of age and they they will be fairly useless after pups first deworming at 2 weeks as they get pulled and pushed off during feeding. Each time they come off, they fall off easier than the last. Every day the first week, I would wake to find 1-2 collars on the blanket in their little “Nest”. After 2 weeks, I would find 3-6 every morning and by the end of the second week, I was having to put them back on during the day all day. However due to the velcro and soft short material it sticks to and the other features that actually make these collars desirable, this is unavoidable (except with the forementioned length complaint above). In retrospect, I could have cut off the excessive length and burned the edges so it wouldn’t fray / become a choking hazard, but didn’t.Over all thoughts:I highly recommend these. In fact, if life grants me another litter to whelp and raise, I will 100% be purchasing these again

We breed golden retrievers and these collars are the perfect size. They are soft and flexible and are able to size up as the puppies grow. Itâs important to be able to identify each puppy especially when they are all the same colour. I had heard that the Velcro sticks to the blankets but I didnât have that problem. I send each puppy home with their baby collar and buy new ones for each litter. Great product and great value for the money.
