Perfect for changing diapers or just having your baby lay there.
Very soft but yet firm foam. Can use the cover but gets hot after a while so I would recommend putting something like a sheet underneath the baby. Our baby loves to sleep on this even in the crib. The sides are sloped for rollover protection. Highly recommended!

Contrary to the other review, the foam pad does fit in the cover pretty easily if you know how to unzip the plastic and put the foam inside. The cover is a actually a little bit of a loose fit over the foam pad, but it looks like it will last long enough to get the job done.
