We live in Minnesota, where winters can get extremely cold, ranging from -20°F to +30°F. With our previous heated mattress pad, I would turn it on when the kids went to bed to ensure the bed was warm by the time my wife and I turned in for the night. Itâs easy to customize the experience to your liking.There are a couple of minor drawbacks, but nothing deal-breaking. Compared to my previous mattress pad, this one gets much hotter, so it would be nice if the âlowâ setting were slightly less intense. Additionally, the pad comes with a single control unit instead of individual ones for each side. This means the controller needs to be positioned at the center of the bed, which works fine for a king-size mattress but can feel a bit inconvenient. It also encourages you to leave the control unit on top of the mattress rather than neatly on the floor beside the bed.Overall, this is a fantastic product. Great heating pad with some minor flaws
This heating pad has been working great for about a month but the app functionality is lacking a bit. A big issue I have with it is that updating your heat setting or schedule requires you to physically push a button on the tethered remote, which is currently situated under my bed due to itâs orientation on the power cord. Scheduled heat settings above level 4 also revert down to level 4 after an hour no matter how high you set it, unless you click the button on the remote and raise the level in the app. Guessing this must be the âoverheat protectionâ mechanism, but it is not ideal. Iâd prefer even if it just went down to level 4 temporarily and then resumed the scheduled setting after it cooled a bit, even though level 4 is plenty of heat for me. Would be nice if I could schedule the heat setting to step down from a high level to lower level myself as well but that is not an option in the app. Overall, it has been working well other than these minor annoyances with the controls. I have not tried the alexa integration because the schedule makes it kind of useless for me since I go to bed roughly the same time every night.

Great blanket but here is some important info
I have two of these Wi-Fi blankets, one twin and one king. Twin is for my son, Wi-Fi set uo was a breeze using the sunbeam app. The king one works great as well BUT I had issues with the Wi-Fi and connecting to the sunbeam app. Only to find out I need the SMARTLIFE APP to get it connected onto my WiFi. Once I got the smartlife app, connecting my king blanket wa a breeze.I have schedules set on both blankets with timers. The blanket heats up fast and works great. Dual zones is awesome, my wife likes it at 4 and I keep it at level 1. My son prefers level 4 and his bed is preheated at 8:30 pm when he goes to bed. Our king is scheduled at 11 pm and 6 am for an hour each. Really nice to be able to control the blankets through the apps. You just need TWO apps to manage the blankets.
