Easy protein, great taste
I got the peanut butter blueberry. Itâs really good! Iâm a vegetarian who likes working out and am trying to eat more protein. I was looking for a vegan protein powder that actually tastes good. Iâve grown to actually like drinking this. I tried it with almond milk first and did not like it, so now, I mix it with about 8 oz water in a blender bottle. Shake for about 30 seconds, add some ice, and shake some more. By then itâs blended and cold and goes down easy. The last drink of the bottle is powdery, but Iâve never tried a powder that does not do that.

This is a high quality product
Everyday my lunch is a protein shake. I have been utilizing naked nutrition protein for about 6 months. I find that it is a much cleaner form of protein, as opposed to whey or soy derivative products. Naked utilizes yellow peas as the source of protein. I personally enjoy the banana strawberry flavored protein powder from this company. As it is a vegan product, it is carefully manufactured, there are no artificial sweeteners or additives of any kind. The banana and strawberry flavor is derived from fruit without additional sweeteners added. Other than the yellow peas, coconut and the fruit juices, the only other ingredient is MCT oil. I like the fact that the pea protein is sourced in the United States and Canada. I feel that I’m getting a better quality product with an additional sense of confidence, (as opposed to products which come from Asia, which I am reluctant to consume). My personal recipe is 8 oz of fat free milk, two scoops of the protein powder, a small scoop of beet powder, a small scoop of blueberry powder, a tablespoon of powdered multivitamins, one large organic banana, and a half cup of fresh organic diced yellow peach. I blend this mixture for 10 seconds in my protein shake blender and voila, lunch is served. I personally find the flavor of the shake quite pleasing and enjoyable. There is no grit nor aftertaste from the protein powder as one would find with many competing products. There is also in my experience no constipation as a result of this protein powder. The product is low in sugar with only five grams per serving and a low 8 grams of carbohydrate as well. One more thing I would like to add, I have given my recipe for my daily lunch shake but this is one of the few protein powders on the market where one can honestly substitute water for milk and it is in fact still quite palatable. I prefer adding the fat free milk to my shake but it is not necessary in order to create a pleasant tasting high quality protein shake. Incidentally, I do not work with or for this company and I receive nothing for this positive review, I am simply a pleased consumer.

Love the brand, not so much the new flavor
So I’ve been using the lemon blueberry flavor for a while, and I really love it. When I went to order another tub recently, I discovered that it’s been discontinued. I was really upset about that, but thought ‘well, I’ll give the blueberry a chance.’ So I’ve tried it, and it’s nowhere near as good as the lemon blueberry. I’m very disappointed. It’s not horrible, and I’ll finish out the tub, I’m not sure I’ll buy another tub. So there’s that.But I do love the vanilla and the chocolate. The strawberry banana and pumpkin pie spice ones are good. I just tried the chocolate almond coconut and was impressed.So disappointed that there’s no more lemon blueberry, and hopefully they’ll bring it back, but other than that I really like these shakes. I like that they blend well, don’t require extra stuff, and have a decent amount of protein.Oh, one last thing — be prepared to fight with the lid. Sometimes it’s fine, but others I think they’re glued on. Thankfully, I’ve only had to cut one open (so far), but I struggle with most of them.

No after taste-fulfilling-Delicious
As a person who have tried all the vegan protein powder and Iâve had to close my nose a drink practically all brands! This brand by far is the best brand! Iâm sticking with this flavor! Also, I use the prepackaged frozen fruit brand âBetter goodsâ at Walmart. Dump that in the blender then two scoops of powder and there you have it! Slight slight aftertaste, very slight. I normally donât write reviews but I had to! Taste delicious! Looks delicious and smells delicious! I can now happily get my protein in as a vegan. Happy customer. 🙂

a sad ending?
Recently I started looking for a shake mix to use while traveling. To my delight Naked shake exists! I already loved their unflavored protein for daily smoothies, so it was the logical next step in our relationship. I read some reviews and it was obvious, get some.But shoot, what flavor? And there is no smaller sampler size? I don’t know which one I want. $40 just to try one is a little steep. Happy to pay for samples I emailed them. Got the response: no samples for shake flavors. That’s it. Nothing else. No, nice ot meet you thanks for asking. No, thats a good idea, I’ll send you some. Or heres a link. Or coming soon. Nothing else, just no.So I read more reviews and picked a flavor that lots of folks seemed to like.The day came. My shake mix arrived at my door and I excited mixed up a scoop for a sample! Finally.UGH! Disgusting. I couldn’t even finish one small shake. When it hit my taste buds I wanted to puke it up. It was nightmare inducing. I’m still recovering. It was one of those lifelong food events that you will never forget. Anytime I smell something like it now I have vivid memories and my stomach turns.So I guess now what? Can I just request a refund – nope. Can I get other samples – nope. Can I use this for something – nope, well maybe the container will make a good cat toy.I’m sad honestly. A little mad, but mostly sad. I want a Naked shake flavor. I want to progress our relationship, but I’m a little miffed now. Since I’m finishing my last 5lb of unflavored naked pea I’ll look for some alternatives.I want to love it, but it doesn’t love me back. Is this the end?
