It works like a new ipad – but weak battery
I’ve only had this mini for a few days, but am very impressed with this Amazon “renewed” product. Other than a couple of very small scratches or nicks on the bottom near the charging port, it looks and feels new. Once charged, it fired up just fine. My only concern is how well the battery holds out, but won’t know that for a while.My main reason for this purchase is to replace a Samsung tablet that I use primarily for reading e-books. However, my hunch is that I will use for more than that.Update 9/12/2022 – Now that I have used this iPad for a couple of weeks, it is apparent that the battery in this refurbished unit is obviously not as advertised as âminimum 80 percent battery lifeâ. I used the Apple app called âbattery testingâ on this iPad twice, and both times the battery was rated âpoorâ. It does not hold a full charge for any more than light app usage and reading e-books for a few hours. Hopefully the seller will replace the iPad with a unit as advertised.Update 9/15/2022 – Seller is willing to replace this faulty iPad. Hopefully the battery will be at 80%.Update 10/10/2022 – I’ve now received the third replacement for the “renewed” Mini iPad. The last two were returned because the battery would not keep a charge. Apparently there is more than one seller for this product. One seller just refunded my purchase and was not interested in sending me a better iPad. The seller that was very cooperative was Tech Exchangee. They were very responsive and rather quickly replaced the iPad with a bad battery. It appears the battery is holding up well and the iPad is in excellent condition – it looks new.My caution to all who purchase this “renewed” mini is to make sure the battery is holding the charge and working well. If not hopefully your seller is Tech Exchangee. Their customer service is excellent.

Do not buy
Iâve bought 2 of these refurbished by Amazon. The first one had a problem with charging. It would restart over and over again before coming on fully. I got a replacement. Both the original and replacement have dangerous battery issues. The battery swells and the screen separates from the iPad.

I suppose I’m about the thousandth person to attest to the iPad 4 being the best possible display device for a DJI Spark. I’m mostly an Android guy but just couldn’t get my high end Samsung devices to work very well with the Spark (and I tried all the tricks, direct cable and all). I finally decided to quit fighting and follow the lead of others…. about time. I reasoned that since the iPad 4 was going to be (pretty much) dedicated to drone flying, I might as well just go for a refurbished unit. This turned out to be a very good choice since the unit I received from BuySPRY looks absolutely new and functions flawlessly. The streaming video feed from the drone is now fast. FPV fast. Something that I was rarely able to achieve with an Android set up. And dropouts are a thing of the past. And I can now change batteries on the Spark and fly again in just a few moments – the controller and iPad just sync right up. None of my Android set-ups ever performed as well. So I’m a happy flyer.
