Very bright and a nice color
Great product and it connected very fast and it was super easy. Very bright as well. I thought it would be a warmer color so it isnt what i need for this but it would be great in a floor lamp or ceiling light.

***UPDATE TO THE UPDATED REVIEW***SO, on of my bulbs started to fail this week. It was flickering, then cutting out. I swapped it into a different lamp and got the same issue, then swapped a different bulb into the first lamp and it worked, so its definitely the Geeni bulb with the issue. The bulb in question is about a year and 3 months old. Not great life for a bulb, BUT, all the others I have from around the same time frame are working just fine. SO, I decided to reorder a bulb, because I do REALLY like these bulbs. That’s when I noticed that the one bulb is $15.99, when last December, I bought a 2 pack for $12.99. UGH.***UPDATED REVIEW***I’m giving Geeni bulbs 2 more stars up from my original review. Once all the kinks are worked out with getting these things attached with Alexa, the set up IS actually pretty quick and straight forward. I now have 4 bulbs (one more on the way) with 2 being on a schedule, and everything is working perfectly. The fact that these bulbs don’t need a hub is probably their best quality. A lot of the bulbs on the market require extra hardware. These are totally autonomous. There are only a few slight issues that keep these bulbs from being 5 stars: 1) they still aren’t the brightest bulbs. Although they ARE bright enough to light what you need, I wish they were slightly brighter. 2) with the schedule setting, you can only schedule the bulbs to turn on OR off. You can’t set an “on time” AND an “off time,” only one or the other. 3) the color setting (on the color enabled bulbs) really leaves a lot to be desired. With the color setting on, the bulbs are at about half the wattage output of their normal operation. Still, now that all the technical issues are out of the way, these are my go to bulbs for converting to my Smart Home.*Original Review*So far, I’m thoroughly unimpressed. Had, and continue to have, a lot of annoying hiccups with this thing. FIRST, if you have a dual band router, which I’m sure most people do, you’re gonna have to do some router configuration. Most broadband routers broadcast both 2.4 and 5.0ghz bands at the same time, and the device will pick the one it needs. NOT THESE BAD BOYS! It took 40 minutes and a call to Comcast to get my router to broadcast on two separate SSIDs just so the bulb would even connect to my network. THAT issue solved, the bulb finally connected and I was able to control it with the phone app. Cool, but its just as annoying to open an app and turn the bulb off, as it is to just get up and turn it off. I want Alexa to control it. SO, I connect it to Alexa, no problem, except that Alexa sees this thing as a PLUG, not a bulb, and therefore cannot control it. Geeni has no online support, so you have to send an email to get support. I’m on day 3 of waiting for a response. Hooray. The bulb itself isn’t terribly bright. I don’t know why its so hard to find a BRIGHT, WHITE damn bulb.It IS dimmable, so theres that. If this worked with Alexa, I’d buy a bunch more (not this EXACT bulb, because I want something brighter) but if Alexa can’t control it, its just an expensive ass light bulb and basically useless to me.

GREAT and easy setup.. also troubleshooting technique(just in case)
Great device!!! The companion app is easy to use.Since this is my first and only smartbulb company they are kind of dim at 100%.. but they create a nice mood! Control is easy enough with Google Home as well!So the instructions are easy enough to setup but troubleshooting is a little tricky and they dont really articulate this very well.. if some how or someway you Smart light bulbs won’t connect to wifi.. read these instructions, From the off position..Turn On, Off,On,Off,On(QUICKLY)… This will activate easy RESTART mode which will work most of the time but if not activate AP(MANUAL SETUP)… ACTIVATE EASY RESTART.. once light are blinking fast do it again but slowly now .. WITH ATLEAST 2 SECOND BETWEEN EACH ON AND OFF.. THIS WILL ACTIVATE MANUAL MODE

It took a few tries to get the bulbs working with my Alexa app, but now theyâre fine! The problem wasnât the bulbs; it was the 70-year-old user who is less than a technical whiz.The doorway into my kitchen from the dining room has no light switch, which meant I occasionally had to cross the kitchen in the dark to turn on the lights. (Great design, right?) Now I can have Alexa turn them on or off or even dim them. I also can use the app to adjust the light color (temperature) to resemble incandescent bulbs.The bulbs certainly cost more than Iâd ordinarily spend, but the alternative was hiring an electrician to add a light switch. These are a terrific bargain in comparison. I plan to order more ASAP for the remaining can lights in the kitchen, and maybe for the living and family rooms. Iâm looking for other lamps and fixtures to add to my homeâs smart lighting network. I love it!(By the way, these would be a great gift for any parents or grandparents who have Alexa or Google Home WiFi setups. They add safety as well as convenienceâtwo things we geezers love and need.)

I bought 4 of these to automate my outdoor lights via wifi to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. Out of 4 bulbs, 2 work intermittently and sometimes not at all. And theyâre receiving a high signal via wifi so thatâs not the problem. I contacted the manufacture and they sent how-to articles and videos. After those did not work, they put me through a lengthy and arduous process to troubleshoot including sending them videos of it not working. This was required for a warranty replacement. After they conceded that theyâre defective, they went completely silent on me and chose not to replace. Itâs been over a month since I was supposedly approved for warranty replacement and noone will respond. Terrible warranty claim process and customer service. I will never deal with this company again.

Dia 1: Por el empaque, los instructivos y el diseño de los focos aparenta buena calidad.Tiempo de instalación de un foco 15 min hasta el punto de poder usarlo con alexa.La luz es amarilla es otro color al que estoy acostumbrado pero resulta más agradable que la luz blanca.Puedo programar el tiempo de apagado y prendido; la intensidad; con el celular y con alexa.Tengo apenas 2 horas de uso y estoy encantado. Estaré actualizando en una semana o si pasa algo malo lo haré antes.DÃa 7: Todo bien hasta ahora, solo que tardé en acostumbrarme en no apagar el interruptor fÃsico, cuando lo apagaba con la mano, Alexa y la aplicación lo marcaban como fuera de lÃnea, pero apenas encendÃa el interruptor Alexa lo reconoció en menos de un minuto.Ya lo estoy usando con las rutinas, con ellas puedo controlar la hora a la que enciende y apaga y con que intencidad lo hace.
