I should’ve gotten a large and been safe but I’m stuck with it now. As far as the bowl set itself, I love it for my dog. I have one for each of my pooches and I think it makes it easier for them to eat without too much stress on their necks. They’re made very sturdy and will not tip over. Bowl does not easily com out of the holder so isn’t easy for dogs to knock it out of place. Color choices are nice, when available.

I really like this dog bowl and would have given it four stars except for the fact that the rubber underneath the bowl to hold it in place is starting to slip down and I haven’t even had it a month. It does fit 2 cups of dog food and has worked great for a medium size dog. Although a really large dog would need a larger size. I’m not fond of the stainless steel bowl. I prefer ceramic because stainless steel seems to be slimy when you clean it just my preference but otherwise I like the design and the shape of the bowl. It has a very sturdy base.
