Perfect weight, size, “feel” in my hand and quiet for my dog
I have a 13 lb mixed-breed (some Shih Tzu+terrier+yorkie) dog and finally decided it’d be more economical for me (vs spending $120 each grooming) to buy a well established brand ( Wahl) clipper with removable blade and with a few common combs. I was used to using comb-less institutional Oster clippers in vet clinics and laboratories, so when I received and tried this light, smooth, quiet, more-precise (especially with comb) and smaller clipper – that was also so pretty!, – I was amazed. This makes clipping my dog kind of fun for both of us (ok..a bit more for me than her). I know this Wahl clipper is exceptionally durable and that I will always have access to parts and other blades, combs if needed – which is important considering the investment. Highly recommend this product.

The worst clipper I’ve ever used.
The worst clipper I’ve ever used. I bought one of the most expensive Wahl thinking I’d get a better cut than my 25 year old Andis. Not the case as it cut horribly. I returned this item and bought another Andis. Completely night and day! Andis cuts perfectly.

We have a standard poodle that was a rescue and afraid of everything, not to mention has very thick curly hair (poodles have hair not fur) that needs groomed often. I had purchased a cheaper set of Wahl trimmers at Walmart that was battery operated. The cheaper pair barely went through his hair and lost power quickly. These are amazing! The chord is very long and the noise level expected. They cut smoothly through his hair and are much faster to use than the other pair I had. Very much worth the price if you are doing your own grooming.

The Wahl Pro KM Inspire grooming clippers are lighter weight compared to my Andis clippers, but they appear less sturdy. The blades sit securely in place once attached, but it takes some finagling to remove and reattach them. The other sizes seem to be of lower quality compared to other clippers. The power source is corded and quite bulky. The motor provides adequate power for smooth and effective cutting. However, the clippers tend to heat up quickly, which may not be ideal for longer grooming sessions. Not the most important, but the grooming brush included with the kit seems flimsy, with strands falling out. I wanted to like these clippers due to their lighter weight, but they just does not seem to be as well built, durable, or effective as my other clippers.

I have a cat that has fluffy fine hair that mats, and I also have a collie that I need to trim occasionally. So I found this clippers, easy to use, very versatile, not very heavy, has different speeds, it also has a lightweight body to reduce hand fatigue. So I think this one is perfect for me.

DISGUSTED! DO NOT BUY!
Well – I should have paid attention to the reviews! I got this product 1 month and 1 day ago and cannot return it!I plugged it in to trim my dog and about half way thru, it will not cut! I had a previous WAHL for several years – which I loved – but it bit the dust a month ago – so got this one.This is an EXPENSIVE BRAND! Iâve tried a gazillion others. I cannot believe I paid this kind of money to use it 1/2 time! NOT OK!
