Durable, nice lights, good for beginners
I’ve only used a few other drones besides this one, and it was just to test them out, too. This one is the easiest for me to control, especially since I can choose speed levels. This would make a great first drone for kids, but it’s still a lot of fun for more experienced flyers as well. The plastic of the drone body and propellers is thick and can withstand bumps. It measures about 4.3 inches across and 5.5 diagonally. It gives a pretty light show, but it’s not good for those who are prone to seizures, including any pets. The lights do make it fun to fly in the dark. It is very sensitive to wind, so keep it from vents/fans and use outdoors only on windless days. It’s not too hard to get used to controlling, and it responds well to the remote. The remote is comfortable to hold and use, and takes 3 AAA batteries, not included. I ordered this for my husband to play with our cats, but it’s way too noisy for them, so it will make a nice gift. No way to spy on anyone with this drone. It comes in a sturdy, photo covered box that is perfect for gifting, but too large to fit in a stocking. With this drone being good for beginners, I’d say age 5 -6 and older is appropriate. I definitely recommend it for anyone that enjoys R/Cs.

I have several smaller toy grade drones.I’m pretty confident saying this is the coolest drone I have come across so far.The lights and effects are very vibrant, they make this drone really stand out.The drone has decent power, but a pretty short runtime. The batteries charge pretty quickly though.This drone has plenty of range, I haven’t lost signal even once. A few times I’ve gotten it so far away I was sure I would lose the drone. Seriously the drone was just a dot in the sky. I have very nervously flew it back every time.From time to time I crash or lose a drone in a tree or you get a flyaway, I know that one day it will probably happen to this drone. When it happens I wouldn’t think twice about getting another one this thing is really awesome,

My kids have been curious about drones for a while, so I thought this might be a good entry point for them. The drone is small and lightweight, making it easy for them to handle. It feels well-constructed, and despite its size, it seems sturdy enough to withstand a few bumps. We love the lights of it. Nice Mini drone. This drone is excellent. It is not only easy to control with its simple remote, but the drone also lights up with LED lights and has two different speeds to choose from. It comes with two batteries, a charging cord, and some small replacement parts as bonus! The drone itself is small and lightweight but feels well-made. The drone is made of high quality ABS plastic material that can withstand frequent collisions and drops. It is a fun, interactive toy for kids to enjoy and would make a wonderful gift!

Fun and easy to set up for first flight
This is a fun toy and a good introduction into how to control a drone. It has everything you need except for 3 AAA batteries for the controller. The drone batteries, one for use and one as a spare, come with enough charge to fly right out of the box. Simply install batteries in the controller, install the battery on the drone, turn on the drone and then the controller. A beep will indicate that the two are paired up. You can use a single button for takeoff and then control movement: the left control for up or down and the right control for forward, backward, left and right. The controls are a bit sensitive so younger kids might not be able to control it well, but it doesn’t take a lot of practice to get better at control. Be sure to fly it in an open area, and if outdoors, when there is little or no wind.The instruction manual is reasonably clear on setup, flight and maintenance steps.
