Snug Fit, Locking Feature Equals 2 Hand Op
I like this case a lot. The locking clasp is great to avoid accidental openings of the case. But it also makes it hard to flip open the case with one hand. Given how tricky the slippery earbuds can slide out from the case and fall, you should use two hands anyway. For the money, I am satisfied. The material is sturdy plastic with some soft touch materials on the front and back sides.

A great upgrade, just imperfect
I sought out a âlockingâ case after one too many bounces left me with a lost AirPod. This has been a great upgrade from my usual silicone cases. Two tips:- it doesnât necessarily lock on its own when you close it. To make sure itâs secure, latch it manually.- the metal o-ring is SUPER flimsy. It got caught on my pocket earlier and ripped open (see pic). The case fell off and Iâm lucky it landed in my car. The carabiner will fit on the case without the o-ring – Iâd recommend removing the ring and connecting it directly for more security.
