AMAZING
This has been such a savior in our home. Our dog is such a sweetheart, but there isn’t a thought behind those eyes. He has been so hard to train, and I swear he has some sort of ADD. He’s just a dumb derpy boy. We had a lot of issues with him jumping and play nipping on us. Additionally, on walks, he would get agitated and start chewing his leash and acting out.We didnt want to use the shock aspect of this collar, and we do not use it. We only use the tone option, and we have only used the vibrate 2-3 times at most. Sometimes, we dont even need to push the button, he will see the remote, and he will stop what he is doing and focus on us. This is exactly what we were hoping for! Now, we have started to not use the collar and work on the same commands without it and he is doing better! It has been a wonderful tool to train him out of some of these bad habits. He is still young and we know he is going to have these naughty moments, but he is doing SO much better. His recall and commands and focus is truly a 180 from what it was before. You do not need to charge this often. We do not keep the collar on him all of the time, only when we are doing training or taking him on walks. But we have had this collar for over two months and we have only charged it…3 times? And it charges quickly! It is easy to put together and it doesn’t bother our dog’s sensitive skin either. It is very easy to take on and off. The remote is easy to use and is a nice size.If youre on the fence about this, dont be. You need this. The tone has truly been a wonderful tool to help our derpy boy become a good boy!

Great for mastiff sized dogs !
Hard to find a good one for your dogs and be a great price, but you canât beat this. My dog seems to like this one compared to the other brand we had. Happy pup and happy owner. He is 3 going on 4 at 189lbs. Still has some room around his neck when he gets bigger.

Durable!
Worlds fantastically! Have a 105 lbs Belgian Malinios and helped a lot with training and being able to be off leash! Love this thing and if I get another pup he will have this same collar!

For 98% of people this collar set up is without a doubt a good buy and will meet your needs.
Summary: For 98% of people this collar set up is without a doubt a good buy and will meet your needs. If you are a professional trainer or super picky about name brands then go buy one of the $400+ training collars.First: I donât normally right a lot of reviews â but as I have a lot of experience with e-collars and have been in your shoes reading reviews prior to a purchase of one â I thought this might help somebody. Now for the review: We have tried a variety of electronic dog training collars (e-collars). We started out years ago with a DT system collar that we got on a super sale but eventually lost the charger. Later, we needed a training collar for a puppy and bought $30 Patpet collar that we were pleased with but knew we needed something more rugged with longer range as he grew. Eventually, we bought the Patpet 640 with one collar and remote. It worked great even after the remote got partly chewed up by our lab. Eventually we got another dog and bought a second collar we found on sale for her. For that one we tried another brand, Pet Spy (P620), that looks EXACTLY like the PatPet 640 â but with some minor details that were different. After some time the first remote on the older Patpet began acting up and would sometimes shock when we were trying to tone. So it was time to replace both remotes and collars for a two dog setup. For our next set of collars we decided to upgrade and bought a more expensive Bousnic brand two collar setup with an easier to put on and remove quick release plastic buckle and fabric collars that were easier to replace in case one got worn out or too dirty. The Bousnic didnât last a day! As soon as our lab jumped in the pool it started vibrating. We took it off and regardless of what we tried it continued to vibrate for hours until the battery finally died. We returned the Bousnic to Amazon and bought this 2 dog Patpet product. We have been happy with the Patpet 2 collar setup. It is easy to switch between collars using the toggle switch and you can have each dog set up with different levels of intensity. The e-collar module portion of the collar is pretty rock solid. More than once I have laid a collar down only to later find it in the mouth of one of my dogs being used as a chew toy. My labs also get a kick out of chewing on each other collar for some reason.Eventually, after having the Patpet for about four months, we believed that the Patpet shock strength simply was not enough for our hard headed lab. So we bought an expensive Garmin Sport Pro (with an extra PT10 collar for the second dog). As a side note, we figured out by sheer accident (story for another day â but I zapped myself by accident) that the Patpet collar shock is plenty strong for our lab as long as the prongs are making contact. That is an issue with any e-collar on a dog with a thick coat. You have to split the difference in the collar being too tight and having enough contact and still being comfortable for him to wear for longer periods of time. Altogether, the 2 dog Garmin setup was about $400+. It works great but the battery life is much shorter (4-5 days at most) than the Patpet which lasts for a couple of weeks before needing to be recharged. Of course battery life is dependant on use, and we use ours every day. But the Garmin battery plays out in a few days regardless of how much it is being used. The Patpet splits duty with the Garmin at our house. The Patpet also charges much faster than the Garmin collars. As the expensive Garmin collarâs battery is short lived compared to the Patpet, we often use the Patpet product as a back up. So I have experience comparing this collar set up to ones in a similar price range as well as comparing them to ones far more expensive better known brands. THE PATPET BLOWS AWAY THE OTHER CHEAP COLLARS WE HAVE USED AND RIVALS MY EXPENSIVE GARMIN SETUP IN EVERY WAY EXCEPT THE QUALITY OF THE REMOTE (and the fact that the Garmin has some extra features such as bark limiter and the ability to add a third collar â but that is a product costing more than five times as much for a two collar setup). Also, Garmin does not have the ability to set up the different collars with different levels of intensity feature, you simply have to a roll a dial to select the intensity on the Garmin (which is a pain to do if you need to call both dogs and and have to switch levels quickly). The Garmin collar holes are small and thus take a few seconds longer to get on the dog but the Garmin collar portion is easily replaceable. As for the Patpet collarâs water resistance: Donât even worry about it. It is great! Just make sure to press down the rubber tab protecting the rechargeable socket. It is rated at IPX7. Our lab has spent hours in a saltwater Pool wearing the collar. No problems whatsoever. He stays on the surface mostly, so if your dog is a diver? We donât have any experience with that. The remote is rated to IPX5 but I have not gotten it wet other that the occasional rain splash. It handled that well.My only gripe on this Patpet product is the remote, which seems flimsy to me. Otherwise it would be a product worth much more that I would be willing to pay a lot more for. As I stated earlier, we had a an older Patpet 640 where the remote began to misfire and would sometimes shock when we meant to tone. I find myself trying to be much more careful with the Patpet remote and I have yet to find a holster or case to ease my fears. But However, Patpet sells replacement parts available on Amazon, and a replacement remote is only about $20. Speaking of replacement parts: We have also replaced at least one collar (the actual rubber collar piece, not the electronic module) that got chewed up and it fit perfectly. It doesnât appear that the collar part is replaceable BUT IT IS. You can also buy a replacement collar in blue instead of black. The PatPet remote comes with a belt clip that breaks off fairly easily. But⦠the expensive Garmin doesnât even come with a belt clip. So that comparison is a wash. Both have a place to put a lanyard and that is what we use for both. The Patpet comes with a funky lanyard that you will either love or hate. But lanyards are easily replaceable at very little cost. The Garminâs lanyard spot is larger looks sturdier than the Patpetâs. We actually broke one of the older Patpet lanyard holes by trying to force a different type of clip onto it. Just use one of those lanyard strings and learn from my mistake (or fix it with duct tape like did).Final:If you need a two dog set up (or even a single dog set up), and want to spend under $100 (actually well under $100), this product is a no brainer. You canât buy a comparable product with good range and tone, vibrate, and shock for even double the cost of this one. Granted, if you buy a $400+ brand name product, you will have more features and probably wonât have to buy another one for a decade (but at some point you know you are going to lose the remote or the collar). If you need a product that will last a couple of years at moderate use even in wet (and possibly rough) environments (lets just say you have a labrador and leave it at that), then have no fear in buying this product. The collars have been bullet proof, the remotes? Not so much. If you have a remote problem after having the product for a while, I would try buying the replacement remote prior to dropping a lot of cash on more expensive product.

Outstanding product
Great product I bought A set of these back in early 2021. I use it primarily on a bloodhound puppy. I put it on him one morning and he went to play he came back without it about 10 minutes later. I have searched all over since then with no success until this morning almost 2 years later. I live in a low area and have multiple mud holes that only dry up in the heat of the summer. While doing some work with my tractor I spotted it sticking out of the mud. Brought it inside washed it off and put it on charge. After a few minutes I decided to try it. It still works fine!!!! I would definitely recommend these. Iâm not sure about the range because I live in a heavily wooded area but every time I would beep my puppy he would come to me.

Night and day difference in my dogs
What a gamechanger this product has been. Almost went with one 10x the money and so happy I didn’t, this one works great and my dogs have never been happier. I’m able to keep them outside with me now without leash or tether. I taught them that when they hear the tone and return to me, they get a treat. I started saying they’re names before the tone, now after a week they come immediately without even using the tone. Incredible.I’ve had to use the shock a couple of times. They use to bolt towards the neighbors next door when their dogs came out, not anymore! Don’t buy the super expensive one, trust me, this one works great.
