Fantastic magnetic base!
The image quality is crystal clear, and the sound is sharp and precise. My favorite feature is the magnetic baseâitâs a game changer! The base comes with built-in magnets, so you donât even need the mounting plate. Just pick up the camera and attach it directly to any ferromagnetic surface, and itâs securely installed in seconds. Iâve attached it to the metal door frame in my house, and it works perfectly. Itâs incredibly convenient and saves so much time. I was initially concerned after seeing some reviews mentioning issues with the magnetic attachment, but I can confirm it works flawlessly. The base definitely has a magnet, and it holds the camera securely. Highly recommended!

Easy Setup and connection. Great customer service
Out of the box this camera was easy to set up and connect to WiFi through their App. I love the magnetic mount. The pictures are clear but the app is a little clunky. The biggest disappointment is that I cannot figure out how to use the 3x digital zoom in the specificationsand marketing video. I updated the firmware and used all the typical pinch, pull methods standard on iPhone software.UPDATE: After reading my review their customer service team reached out to me, logged a bug , and released a working update.Great customer service.Night vision works really well with the light on.

Iâm pretty satisfied with this camera. The setup was straightforward, even for someone who isnât all that tech-savvy like me. The magnetic mount is solid, and itâs really easy to adjust the camera or move it around. It took me maybe 10 minutes to get everything running, and the app was helpful in guiding me through the process.The video quality is good, especially the 2K resolution, which holds up even at night. Iâve set it up in the living room where it can cover both the kitchen and the play area, and the wide view lets me keep an eye on my kids while working from home. Itâs been super convenient, and Iâm thinking of picking up another one for the backyard.

I was so excited to install this camera. We took it out of the box and charged it over night. Today we tried to set up and pair the camera with our phones but nothing is working. The camera is not detectable. Iâve been pairing it for an hour and still no luck.

Best Camera For Us
I’ve had two other security cameras and there were problems with each. The last one quit working by going off line all the time. The Kiwibit cameras have worked flawlessly. I love the magnetic mount and the USB charing. So far, it appears the battery charge will last a long time. I had a few issues with the app, but the customer service was quick and the problems were resolved quickly. I was very satisfied.

Easy to install, works prefect
Install was very simple after we charged the camera. It works really well. Now this camera is inside my garage, it catches and records any movement or motion, night vision is great. Sound quality is excellent. I recommend it to my friends and family. You don’t need a subscription with the camera through the app, you can claim a lifetime free 1-day video playback feature, unless you require advanced AI functions or larger storage. I’ll try those features later. You also do not need a large MicroSD, the average home user will be fine with 8Gb and 16Gb is probably overkill…This is the only camera I use, and it’s great to know my garage door is closed or see what happens when it’s open.Glad we got this product!

I’ve been using this Kiwibit camera for a while now, and I’m really impressed. The magnetic mount is really convenient-it’s built into the camera, so it’s ready to go straight out of the box. No tools needed, and the magnetic hold is super solid. I’ve been using it indoor to keep an eye on my cat and I’m planning to buy another one for my parents for their backyard. They don’t have metal surface in the yard, but they can use it with anchor plate and screws included.The video quality is great for both live view and recordings. You can also switch the video to SD resolution when wifi is weak. I even caught a cute moment of my cat playing with a blanket during Christmasâit was hilarious!Not long after setting it up, I got a firmware update notification in the app. I wasnât sure about it, so I reached out to their customer support in app, and they were so helpful and friendly. They explained that the updates improve the product and recommended setting it to update automatically at night. Super easy, and itâs nice to know theyâre constantly working on improvements.
