Favorite Dairy Free Protein
I mix Truvani chocolate protein powder into my coffee every morning as a breastfeeding mom to increase my protein consumption. The taste is great and it blends easily with my frother. My only issue is that it settles pretty quickly, so between all the running around that I do for my kids, I have to reheat and âre-buzzâ my coffee sometimes. Still amazingly clean ingredients and so worth the cost. (Iâm on Subscribe and Save!)

I ordered this Truvani Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder because I was looking for a plant based protein powder to take. I like that it has only 6 ingredients and that it is certified USDA Organic. The chocolate flavor is ok. There are only 20 servings of 20g of protein and I take at 1-1/2 to 2 scoops per shake. So the bag doesn’t last very long. Kind of expensive. I like that it has no added sugar or artificial sweeteners. It uses monk fruit to sweeten it. The protein mostly comes from pea protein. It mixes well with water in my shaker. I am happy with it.

As someone who loves to work out, but also struggles with acne, this protein powder is chefâs kiss. The fact that it has so few ingredients and tastes as good as it does amazes me. Is it the smoothest protein powder Iâve ever had? No. But I would take it any day over other pea proteins that have additives.

Best vegan protein powder
The vanilla is a great taste. Not too gritty like in some vegan protein powders. No awful Stevia or sucralose taste. It’s very pricey. No stomach issues like bloating or constipation when I take this. Mainly used for protein shakes. Tried it in my pancakes and did not come out good. I wish the price would go down.

Love the clean ingredients, but for the price, they need better packaging.
I use this in my coffee pretty much daily and itâs a great way to get a quick, healthy breakfast in the morning. I can see why people complain about the grittiness. I have to stir my coffee before I take a sip or else I get a mouthful of powder. But I do it for the clean ingredients.When I started buying this powder almost two years ago, it had an easy seal package that I loved. It gave the powder an upscale quality and made it easy to make my breakfast drink. Now, the last few shipments, the packaging has been atrocious and I hope they donât continue to cut on that cost. It may save the company some money, but if a bug or something gets into my powder because it canât close, Iâve now lost money. And at $50 a bag, that adds up.At this point, Iâve skipped my next subscribe and save and am going to see if they do something about the packaging issue.On a positive note, the flavor (at least chocolate and vanilla) is great! I donât notice a chemical aftertaste and it gets the job done. I love my morning coffee/breakfast drink.
