Like the fact that it gives you an alternative grip to your gimbal it feels super comfortable to have two points instead of just one awkward point the quality of the metal is nice. Also it has a cold horseshoe mount and screw points on it.

For $30 I have zero complaints. This product does exactly what it’s intended to do…Give you more grip. Feels very sturdy. They used a decent grade of metal and the finger grooves in the handle are pretty generous. I wear a medium glove if your wear a larger you’ll find it fits well also.You could probably leave this attached to your gimbal and never take it off. For morbid curiosity you can even mount the grip on the back of a Weebill S. How much actual functionality that provides you is anyone’s guess. The hot shoe mount works well with my Rode Mic. But theres just one box i wish this checked: 7″ monitor. If you have a Atomos you’ll be ok but any larger…forget it.
