Working Great in Ring Solar Floodlight
Both batteries have been installed in a solar floodlight for about 6 weeks. I bought them because the floodlight was dying with the winter weather and reduced sunlight, so I figured it would be better to have two batteries installed so the time between recharges was reduced and I could “float” the extra battery around to my other devices to prevent downtime. I also changed the placement of the solar panel, and recently the weather has improved, so I haven’t had to charge them since the first time (they are now at 83% and 86%).Yes, they charged slowly but all of my Ring batteries take hours to charge so I charged them overnight like I do on my Spotlight Cams, Stick up Cams, Solar Path Lights, and Solar Wall Lights. I didn’t have a USB A fast charger at the time so I used a standard USB hub and can’t say if these are compatible with fast charging. But I saw a lot of complaints about charge time which is why I mentioned that these charged overnight just like all my official Ring products.

These take forever to reach full charge. In fact Iâm not sure they ever reach full charge. I charge one for 5 days and it only shows about 80% charge. They do work and fit, but they donât charge like the originals.

The only thing I donât like itâs the holder that has doesnât hold like the batteries fromRing. But the battery life is about the same as ringâs. Charging speed is about the same too. So I will definitely recommend.

These are the batteries that failed quality check for OEM
The metal clip was bent inward on both batteries as you can see from the picture. I had to bend out the clip so they latch and stay in place; it took almost an hour to figure it out as they initially powered up the device and the the power went off.There is a piece of tape that covers the ring logo so clearly these were made for ring but found defective.
