Great WiFi Power Strip.
Having a stylish look and an outstanding 6 smart outlets with 4 USB ports such as USB C, this model does great to fit all the appliances, including the phones, smart home devices. The 5 feet extension cord ensures that we easily access even those sockets that are hard to reach.But what makes this power strip unique is the proper compatibility with Alexa and Google Home. Being able to power and manage several devices just by telling a gadget to turn on is something close to sorcery. You can only control six of the eight outlets.
The first two outlets are always on, there is no way to turn those off. The other six you can control with Smart Life app. You are able to turn the outlets on individually, that has allowed me to set up a couple lava lights by my television that I don’t have to reach behind the council to try to turn on. I can just open the app and turn the outlet on, very easy, quite handy. It also has a few charging ports for USBC and USBA, there is no control for them in the app. It is supposed to work with Alexa, I have it connected, but I can’t get Alexa to control it. That could be me, some of this newer tech is getting more difficult to make work. And the plug on the end is the thin design plug, and it’s also clocked to keep the wire out of the way of the outlet below it. Overall it does the job and I really like the fact that I can control it with an app.

Good Spacing And Lots Of Outlets
This is a nice power strip with the added benefit of smart capability. As technology progresses, even your power strips need to be upgraded, which is what I have been doing in both my home and business. I needed a flat plug to fit close to the wall, widely spaced outlets, and at least two USB and USC ports. This one fits the bill. It appears to be well made and has a power switch that you can use to cut the power on everything plugged into it if necessary. The 5-foot cord is the perfect length for my needs. I will try the smart plug app soon, though I don’t need it right now.

Does *NOT* Work with Alexa
Would be a perfect product if Alexa could find and connect to it. I have over 40 smart plugs, bulbs and other devices from various brands all over my house and I am very familiar on how to set these up. This power strip can ONLY be used from the Smart Home app. All of my other devices from Smart Home are easily ported over to the Alexa app and work with Echos around the house, but for some reason Alexa cannot recognize this power strip. After several attempts I gave up and will be returning. Sucks because this strip has 8 plugs – 6 of which are smart, 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C ports.

Mine was a dud
I had a power surge & it fried a previous power strip. I got this one to replace it. I thought there was something wrong with my lamp and printer, but no, it was the power strip. Only TWO of the eight plugs worked, TWO. I am returning this immediately & will order a different strip. Do not recommend 1/10. It gets 1 instead of zero b/c USB port worked along with the 2 power plugs. :/

Annoying
Set up was annoying and not exactly user friendly. I haven’t been able to make it work without the app which is my preference. I don’t think it is possible to control it from the app when you are away from the home location which is definitely a design flaw.Otherwise the build is good and it works fine. I would not choose this again though.

It does work
Overall not to bad. I would say instructions are a bit light with no like qr code for the app. The name of the app in instructions was different than app name in store. So took a bit of thinkin to find the right one.Once I got the app everything else seemed pretty straight forward and worked. I have several single Kasa plugs that work. But had an area where a strip plug would work much better and less stuff plugged in.Went with this one cause it was cheaper than the other ones I had gotten. Would have liked to stay in one app, but where I wanted this a separate app actually made more sense.So far no connection issues, timers have worked. So far so good. Granted it has only been 4 days. I will update with more over time, be it good or bad.

Nice power strip
It seems these days that I have way more devices than I have plugs. So, I’ve had to start using power strips.This is a very nice power strip. The Smart aspect of it is great. What I like the most is the spacing between plugs. Most power strips have a couple of outlets rendered useless if something with a large plug is plugged in. It actually will cover the outlets on each side of it. That shouldn’t happen with this one thanks to the generous spacing.I also love that it has USB plugs for charging devices. It makes it so easy to charge everything while using the strip to power other things.This is a very nice, well made cord and strip. The flat plug (where it plugs into the wall) makes it easy to plug into tight spaces. It really does make a huge difference when the plug doesn’t stick very far out of the wall.Overall, a really nice power strip. I’m happy with it and recommend.
