The wireless HDMI transmitter supports decoding 4K video, but will output in 1080P. (Not just Carego, ALL wireless HDMI transmitters will downscale resolution to 1080P. )
Does the wireless hdmi transmitter and receiver support smartphone/tablet/cameras/DV?

Reliable for Work and Home Use
This wireless HDMI kit is exactly what I needed. Setup was super easy â it connected automatically in just a few seconds, no apps or drivers required. The signal is really stable, and thereâs no noticeable delay, which makes it great for work presentations and streaming movies at home. Iâve used it in meetings and even set it up for a family movie night, and it worked flawlessly. The included adapters for different devices were a nice bonus, and the compact design makes it easy to take anywhere. Itâs a practical solution for anyone looking to simplify their setup at work or home.

No More Cables!
Overall works well. The picture quality is very nice and we no longer need to use a hdmi cable. Having one less cord makes things a lot better. For streaming purposes from PC to TV it works fantastically. There is a very slight delay but it is not noticeable when watching steaming videos. It may be noticeable when playing games on it, so I’d avoid that.We stream about 20ft away and there is not major issues with the quality or delay but there are no walls between the transmitter and receiver. If I move my laptop to a different room with walls in-between the screen flickered a bit depending on the distance. One thing to keep in mind is to make sure you have the transmitter and receiver attached to the right devices or it will not work. Its not as easy as plug and play but its easy to set up.

Very help, wireless
My husband and I love this for our office. It is extremely helpful when we have business meetings in the conference room. We are able to plug this into our TV and plug the other one into our laptop to share a screen on the TV and it is entirely wireless. It is directed by a USB.Very little to no lag time when using it and makes client experience and meetings go seamlessly when you can see the person screen. And even easier when youâre not tripping up the wires in my opinion, I must-have device for an office.

4k Quality
I actually just got a better tv and saw that this supports 4K and thought I would give it a try to test out the streaming quality. As stated, pairing was very easy and straight forward and I liked how this also uses the 5ghz besides the 2.4ghz. So far, Iâve used this to stream videos and the quality is very amazing with the new tv screen I have. Also, loved the wireless of it all as we had a karaoke night and was able to stream YouTube for the lyrics and pass the laptop around so everyone can add their songs to the queue rather than having people get up to walk towards the laptop if it was attached to an HDMI cord. I havenât used the mini adapters but Iâm sure they would connect as easily. Overall, I like the upgraded 4k feature of it all and the upgraded 5ghz connection. Picture and sound quality are superb.

It is a good stuff! But make sure you can charge your receivers!
I recently used this product for live streaming videos, and I was quite pleased with it. The image quality was clear and sharp, providing a satisfactory viewing experience. The HDMI extension cable included was a useful addition for my wall-mounted TV setup, allowing for convenient placement. In addition, the product is not heavy, then you can bring it to anywhere.Just a heads up, if your device’s HDMI port doesn’t provide enough power, you’ll want to make sure to use the included USB cable to connect it to a power source. This ensures that the device receives the necessary power to function flawlessly. It’s a small but crucial detail that ensures your streaming sessions go off without a hitch.

Fantastic Device and As Easy As It Gets
This thing is AMAZING! First of all it was so easy to setup and start using. Truly Plug-and-Play, nothing to do but plug it in to both devices and it connected seamlessly and automatically. The picture quality is wonderful. I played some videos on my laptop and the picture on my 70″ HDTV screen was as good or better than on the laptop. I have the TV connected to my surround sound audio system and the sound quality was excellent as well. Absolutely no lag or buffering between source and output. This is so much nicer than having to run wires to make the connections. In my opinion, all pros and no cons for this product.

Compact little device
Does the work with no need of lengthy wires. No need for pairing either because they were paired in factory. Plug in and instantly work. Bravo!

Works better than expected
I’ve been using a cheap HDMI transmitter for classroom use, and it’s been a frustrating experience. Not with this one. It does take time, like the cheap one, to pair and negotiate the connection, but once connected it’s just worlds better. Walking between the two doesn’t upset the transmission, and it works at least 30 feet away in a clear line of sight, with the unit behind the TV (so not perfectly clear line of sight – but no walls). As explained it will accept a 4k signal but resize it to 1080. It can only transmit 1080p, and if you need 4k transmission you’re going to be paying 5-10x more than this. Not explained, though, is that it uses a substantial portion of the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi spectrum. If you’re in a building with multiple wifi networks it’s going to stomp on one or more of them as well as receive interference from one of them. It appears to do a decent job of finding an unused band for the video, so only network admins will notice, and you’ll only notice poor quality streaming if the local RF conditions are already chock full. In those cases you’ll need to consider an HDMI cable, HDMI to ethernet extender, or HDMI fiber optic cable.I haven’t sniffed the communications between these two, they may be encrypted, but given the awesome low latency it wouldn’t surprise me if they weren’t encrypted (encryption adds a measurable delay for encrypting and decrypting). I treat this as a public monitor – if I’m using it then I assume anyone can capture some or all of it at a distance. Don’t use this for sensitive presentations, medical review, or anything even privacy adjacent. Also, notably, this appears to handle HDCP streams just fine.
