My cat loves this thing. It’s solid, doesn’t wiggle and it’s easy to put together. Great item.

Cat loves it
I like it because my cat loves it. It does wobble a bit and it put my cat off for a day or so. Once he realized that it was stable despite some wobbling he loved it. He is 11.6 pounds and can find comfy ways to sit and sleep on it. Formerly an outdoor cat before I adopted him, this makes him happy and he has adjusted nicely to indoor, safe life.

Definitely a nice cat scratcher with lounge top
This item definitely deserves a thumbs up. The quality is good, and the product looks exactly as presented in the picture. It is an assembly item, there is one front/back page of diagram instructions, that do not explain a second bag of 4 washers and adhesive round cushions. Potentially the cushions are for the bottom, to keep it from scuffing the floor, but the corners are already wrapped in carpet, so potentially not needed. There is also a second puff ball included, it is not shown in the picture, nor explained on the instructions, and has a different end adapter that doesnât appear functional. There is a strip with holes attached under the basket that also did not make sense with the diagram instructions, but it doesnât detract from the product by simple not using it. The top is big enough for a grown cat, unless your cat is really large. The top bed does not have high sides, or a well defined âbasketâ, but my crew didnât have a problem getting comfortable. Everyone was drawn to the scratcher, and tried it out. My crew are familiar with this style of scratcher, so took right to it. I ordered 3 of these, and the base does have a sticker about formaldehyde, which Iâm sensitive to, and did cause some uncomfortable respiratory issues putting together, so something to be aware of. If the bed basket was more substantial, Iâd give this a 5 rating.

Cat loved it from the beginning. Especially loved the scratching post. Spends time sleeping and window watching on resting top. Spends much less time clawing furniture. Prefers the scratching post over the furniture.

Materials coming apart after minimal use
We have had this less than a month and the sisal and fur are already coming off the post. The scratching material is not attached to the post securely enough. It is unsafe for my cats to use now. Do not waste your money like I did.

Cats Love It
I replaced an older, very scratched up, standing post with this. I love, or rather, the cats love, the large pillow on top. Itâs exactly what Iâve, weâve, been looking for. And it was very easy to assemble. Took about 15 minutes. Oh, and my cats all weigh over 10 lbs.

Looks nice but
The Karolpar 32 inch scratching post looks nice but when my Siamese 10 and 12 lb. cats jump on or jump off this platform it is so light it falls over and could hurt the other cat if standing near it, So we have to put it under weighted furniture to stop it from crashing every time. I’m not putting screws in to the floor to hold it down.
