Good Baby Activity Gym, Poor Quality Toys- Assembly Instructions in Review
I have mixed feelings about this baby play gym. The gym itself is fairly nice, but the toys leave something to be desired. The gym and play mat are very large, which will allow it to be used for some time. Everything is well padded and seems pretty secure. One of the reasons that I chose this activity center is because it has a mesh ring around it. I wanted this in order to discourage the dog from joining the baby during playtime. It works perfectly for this purpose, so that is a major plus in my book. Sadly, the toys fall short in the fact that they are all much the same as one another. Three of the four are just stuffed with bells. The last one is stuffed with a squeaker. They not offer much variety as far as texture and sound. I also feel that the quality of the toys is not on point. I worry about the little pieces inside them as well. Thankfully, the simple loop attachment system will allow me to hang other toys that are widely available. A convenient feature of this gym is that it is designed for travel. It comes in a cute zip-up donut bag for easy transport. Considering that the gym is huge, it’s nice that it can fit in such a small bag when you disassemble it. As far as assembly is concerned, it is relatively easy, but slightly time consuming. There are no instructions, so I will give you a run-down. First, make sure that you have a large, unobstructed place to do this in. You will be glad you have the space. The base with the mesh needs to be popped open first and it will unwind with some force, so be aware. Next, place the four short padded tubes into the Velcro pockets on the sides of the base. This takes a little shoving and bending. After that, place the mat into the base. Then, carefully unhook the poles (they can get away from you) and re-hook them to the loops on the underside of the mat. Finally, hang the toys from the loops as desired. It is fairly intuative, and perhaps does not require instructions, but I included them as it took me quite a while to find the attachments for the poles. I kept looking on the base, expecting them to be there, and it did not occur to me that the poles would hook onto the mat. Breaking the gym back down is easy, save folding the base. All of the items fit back in the bag relatively easily. As a travel item it could really be a nice buy. Overall, it’s a pretty nice gym. I will replace the toys, but am happy with the rest.

It’s Alright
This baby ball pit was a cute idea, but the execution lacked a bit. The ball pit is easy to set up and can be packed away in a convenient carrying case, making it easy to transport. The material used in this ball pit is a bit on the thin side, I wish it had a little bit of a pad in the bottom for newborns, so I lay a blanket down for more cushion. I find it amusing they call it a ball pit when it only comes with 5 balls? It is also a bit small, good for a baby up to 3-4months. It seems a bit expensive for what you get.
