Works great and keeps it charged.
It charges the Ring doorbell but it wonât show as connected to the solar panel. My doorbell is u dear a porch roof so the sun never hits it. The ONLY Ring approved solar panels are the ones that mount around the doorbell. So no way to charge it in my case but this works!

Worked For 2 Days And then, No longer recognized
Unit installed easily. My Ring doorbell 2 recognized the solar panel for 2 days, and then it was no longer recognized on the ring app or charging. I switched contact points several times to troubleshoot because I was really hoping this was the solution to keep it charged 24/7.

Great item. Can’t beat the price for the quality of the unit. I returned another similar item from a different seller to get this one because it had a longer cable, but happy to see that this solar panel seems to be of higher quality as well. My only suggestion would be a higher quality mount. I think the one it comes with now is fine but we’ll see how it holds up in extreme winter cold (located in Northern Wisconsin)

Easy to install. Better than expected
Easy to install. Worked right as expected. The Ring battery recharges during the day and we donât have to worry anymore about taking out the battery to recharge it.The only drawback is the length of the cable. I had to buy cable to extend the reach several feet in order to install it in the right place.

Shows charging… But killing the battery faster!
I hooked this up to my eufy door bell camera and it’s shows that it’s charging, but actually killing the battery faster. I hooked this up on Sat the camera was on 94% now Monday morning and it’s down to 73% . This doorbell usually lasts a full 35 to 40 days on a single charge. With this thing hooked up it’ll be dead in 7 days. Try changing the red and black wires on the back of the doorbell does not make any difference.

DeberÃan cargar la cámara sin problemas, pero en realidad el conector USB C que tienen es malÃsimo y tienes que estarlo desconectando y conectando hasta que hace contacto. Y no es un problema de uno en particular. Compré 8 y con los 8 es el mismo problema. Lamentablemente se me pasó el tiempo para devolverlos antes de finalizar la instalación, pero son malÃsimos. No tires tu dinero.
