Picture perfect!
Love this addition to our camera! It focuses so well and had self stabilizing feature that’s so awesome! The price was very reasonable. It is so easy to use and feels great to be able to capture every moment!

This was the best investment since I shoot Old Skoo with no AF and always been Manual Focus from the 70’s yes im old but seeing that many lenses get pricer and pricer I have no negative feedback on the lens it has giving me beautiful richness in portraits and Sports with proper settings on my Canon R50. I have always shot on manual settings with all my cameras.My lens came perfectly packages and sealed very clean and no issues from when i took it out of the box I have seen some complaints that there came in dirty but mine was clean and fresh out of the box ands look forward to mores lenses for my Canon R50! I would Highly recommend to anyone trying to save on the high end cost lense. I waited a month to post a review on this lense to use it for everyday shooting and have to say best investment ever made!

Fantastic quality
Image quality is fantastic! Easy to set up and use. Just be aware, you have to use the camera in manual mode, there is no auto focus, and unless you are at a very specific distance and zoom from subject, the image will be blurry. But when you find that sweet spot, you can create amazing images with these lens! I suppose thatâs why theyâre used for portrait (not action) photography.

Camera Lens are very expensive, so I was so excited to find one for cheap. BUT this camera lens is sooo cheap its really upsetting because of how much I was looking forward to it, on top of it running late getting to me

– Actually a quite goods lens for the PRICE. Relatively well made – mostly metal, easy to use manually. I didn’t find any MAJOR fault with this objective. Lighter than expected. Came with right mount – Sony E. Also package was delivered VERY fast from U.S. to Finland which was a good thing. The outer box was handled carelessly, but the original internal was intact. Bag and lens hood were included nicely. Individually, I don’t have any trouble recommending this lens for manual shooters. –

Soft images, not sharp.
I had high hopes, but I took it out this am and shot about 100 images, a variety of subjects and going through each aperture setting to see where the sharpest f-stop was. There was none. Maybe itâs good as a portrait lens to remove wrinkles etc, but itâs not for my style of photography.I boxed it back up and returned it.

I got the product first come in is wrong size. Not fit with my camera, but after I contact the Amazo, the seller respond almost immediately and try to find out which part got mess up. And comfirmed it’s their problem with out any question. And I recieved the new one couple days later. And fit my camera and any thing runs good. But before your purchase this lens,be aware that this lens is OEM one and NO AUTO FOCUS function. Even the camera will not reconize your new lens. So, make sure you change your camera setting to not to detect lens or you’ll not able to use it on your camera even the mount is fit. But on me, I don’t use auto focus a lot, so it’s fit my needed and after couple shot, looks pretty good for me so I like it.

They sent me a replacement with the correct mount after things got mixed up at the amazon warehouse. I’m surprised with the amazing quality of the lens for such a low price! Solid metal body, smooth adjustments with soft clicks on the aperture ring. CRYSTAL CLEAR images, and I absolutely love the focal range. I think I’ll get some amazing portrait shots with this lens. I’m not sure why people are complaining about the quality, don’t listen to the negative reviews, this is truly a quality lens! Looking forward to buying more Benoison products. This lens outperforms a couple of Sony lenses I bought this year in terms of image quality. I’m just super happy with this lens.

Bin Begeistert. Fotos machen wie vor 50 Jahren. Es macht noch Spaà durch den Sucher zu gucken. Ist nicht zu vergleichen mit meinem 400 Tele. Aber für den relativen Nahbereich 85 mm ist schon ein echter Klopper. Die Schärfe nachzuführen ging noch ein bisschen schwer bei Blende 1.8. Aber nach 2Std Fotos machen hat es sich eingearbeitet .Das FuÃballspiel war auch zu Ende Von 286 Fotos waren nur 6 etwas unscharf. Bin mit zufrieden mit dem Objektiv und nur über den Sucher eingestellt. Guter Preis.
