Very Good Camera Security System
This camera security system significantly exceeded my expectations. It supports just about any feature someone could want, the ease of use is great, the video quality is quite good, and the price is where the true value of this camera security system excels. While the wired aspect of the cameras might be a dealbreaker for some, the system as a whole offers incredible value for anyone serious about protecting their home or small business.Cameras – One of the pleasant surprised of this security system is the cameras. The video quality is exceptional for a home security camera system at this price. Providing crystal-clear footage that is both sharp and vibrant. I tested the cameras during both daytime and nighttime, and the results were outstanding. The daytime video is crisp enough to see even small details. In the dark, the cameras automatically switch to night vision, which ensures clear and well-defined video even in complete darkness.The field of view on each camera is wide, providing great coverage for large areas, and the motion detection system is was pretty reliable. I especially appreciated the ability to customize motion detection zones and sensitivity, which helps avoid recording unnecessarily. I did not test these cameras outside in any bad weather, although I see no reason they wouldn’t be fine in outdoor elements.You can also set up zones for motion detection, allowing you to exclude areas with frequent movement. You can even have the motion detection trigger the camera to start recording. You can setup schedules for recording, as well as combine schedules and motion detection. There are many other features I will not dive into in this review. Just about any feature one would be looking for in a camera security system, this can support. It even comes with a computer mouse to use. It’s not a good quality mouse, but the fact that it even comes with a mouse at all is impressive. I did not expect that.No product is perfect, and the only downside I have is that the cameras are all wired. While the wired setup ensures a more stable and secure connection compared to wireless systems, it comes with its own set of challenges.For one, the installation process is time-consuming. Unlike wireless cameras that only require a power outlet, wired cameras need to be physically connected to the box. This means running cables through walls or ceilings, which can be tedious and may require professional installation for those who aren’t comfortable with DIY projects. This also makes the cameras less practical for outdoor use, but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be fine to use outdoors if you properly ran the wires.In conclusion, this is an outstanding choice for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality, and feature-rich home security camera solution. If you’re willing to put in the time and effort to install the system (or pay for professional installation), this offers a great balance of performance, reliability, and value that is near impossible to beat.

Inexpensive option for monitoring home security.
I have not had a CCTV security system before, so I don’t know how this system compares to others, but the package did include everything I needed to install and operate four cameras. No monitor is provided, but with the VGA and HDMI outputs you can use most any computer monitor or TV as a local monitor. Once you configure the system the way you want it, you don’t need to keep a monitor connected. I have only operated the system locally, but it’s nice that it supports remote access via a smart phone, web browser, or computer based app. If you decide to access the unit remotely, you must connect it to your router with a network cable that’s not included.The DVR console looks well made with a metal chassis and casing. The cameras are light weight because they have plastic mounts and housings, but it looks like they should hold up fine in the weather. You must run wires from the DVR console to the cameras but once installed, the cameras should not require ongoing maintenance.Initial system setup was fairly straightforward. By accepting default configuration choices I had the system up and running for both record and playback quickly. However, the User Manual does not provide much information on the vast number of options offered by the operating system. It seems to be assumed that the user has prior knowledge of CCTV systems and terminology, which I do not have. I gained a rudimentary understanding of how to operate the system by trial and error, but it would be nice to have a more thorough user friendly guide to the operating system.The video images are good, but I would not describe them as high definition. This could simply be because I was using an older VGA computer monitor. I’m sure images would have been better if I had used an HD TV or monitor. Daytime images are in color while nighttime images rely on built in infrared lights and provide black and white images. The system is video only, no audio.

Not As Described
Does not have Smart Human/Vehicle detection on all 8 channels as stated. If you select buzzer on all 8 channels it does not sound at all. There is no option to have the channel go full screen on motion.Not recommended.
