Painless Hair Removal Device
I recently tried the Aberlite Lux for hair removal, and I am beyond impressed! The device is incredibly easy to use, and I love how painless the entire process is. Itâs so much more comfortable compared to other methods Iâve tried. The instruction manual is exceptionally well-written, making setup and operation a breeze. Seeing noticeable difference already
Iâve been using the Aberlite Luxe IPL for a few weeks now, and Iâm already seeing a noticeable difference! The device is easy to use, and painless, and the cooling feature makes the whole process super comfortable. Solid IPL with ICE cooling and beefy power supply (64.8W), somewhat pricey
There are a lot of options for IPL hair removal devices on Amazon at this point. Having reviewed a huge number of these, I have a very good grasp of the segment, and of how these devices differ. Bottom line: Most of them are very similar, and very average. They work OK, but there isn’t a lot differentating them (outside of shape, color and button placement), and most appear to be made in the same factories.There are a few important features that do differentiate these IPL devices in a meaningful manner:** How powerful is the IPL device (inferred from power supply)** Does the IPL device offer “ICE” epidermal cooling** Does the IPL include additional filters for different purposesThis is a budget priced IPL, but adds decent ICE cooling and a very beefy power supply (64.8W).You run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair and make sure you expose all the hair follicles in that region. You will not see any immediate results. The light signals your hair to stop growing, but it requires multiple treatments over several weeks before you will be expected to see results. Eventually, you should find a substantial reduction in the hair in the treated areas.In the box, you get the tool, a power cord, a pair of eye protection glasses, a couple of skin pencils, plus instructions.A word about the “ice” functionality: It’s local cooling of the epidermal region (surface skin) in the region where the IPL light pulse is being applied. The high powered light can be irritating to some people, and cooling the skin in that region can reduce the immediate irritation. (It does not improve/decrease efficacy of the treatment). Epidermal cooling is not required for efficient use, but it may make it less unpleasant to use the device for some users.This IPL flashes twice when you press the trigger. A low intensity flash followed quickly by a more intense one. The power is more than sufficient, with a 64.8W power supply–at the high end of what you will typically find with an IPL, and better than you would usually find with an IPL in this price range.Note that the power cord attaches to the side of this unit, not to the end. This is an unusual choice, and the cord will be in the way for left handed people attempting to use this unit in the flash-button-on-top mode.While this seems to be a reasonable IPL, with ICE and a powerful power supply, the price is fairly steep compared to other IPL devices I’ve tested that offer similar functionality.Pros:** ICE cooling** 64.8W power supplyCons:** The mode/power buttons are placed where it may be easy to accidentally push them when using the gun.** No LCD readout of number of flashes** More expensive than IPLs with similar power and ICE** Oblong shape may be more difficult for smaller hands to hold** The power cord attaches to the side, which will make it difficult to hold for left-handed people

Do it yourself at home and save$
I found this to be a quality product, easy to use. Fits my hand good, slides across my skin and conforms to my body contours.This is not a one time treatment. It takes a few treatments to stunt the hair follicles and then you need to use it every two or three months. It is painless, which is a plus for me. It saves me money and time and leaves me with one less beauty treatment to do weekly. I hate shaving my legs, so I wonât be running around with any more Nickâs here and there from my weekly shaving routine.I really canât compare it to others simply because this is the first one I have had, but I can say from researching that it seems to be priced right and you can see that this is a quality product. I am very happy to have added this to my Arsenal of items to take care of me and pampering myself. Glad I ordered this for my home spa because itâs easy to use and will save me money in the long run.BTW my daughter loves it too

Very effective, with continued use
This device seems to be only useful for certain skin colors and hair colors. I have pale skin and naturally light brown hair on my arms and legs, and although it does work for me, it takes some continued use to be really effective. I find that some of my hair is removed, but some is not. When I use it again, it eliminates more hair. Another application removes even more. This is probably because it does not seem to work that well on light brown hair. I have tried it only on my arms and legs. It is definitely not painful in the least. See the chart that I show in my photo for the skin colors and hair colors. This device also has some âcontraindications.â They recommend not using it if you have certain skin or health conditions. See the list in my photo. The price is high for this device. I have never had any other similar device, so I cannot make a price comparison. I can say that this is a quality device. If you have naturally black or dark brown hair, and if your skin color falls within the range shown in their chart, this device will be excellent and efficient for you.

I Didn’t Use It
I wish I could say something about this device but I did not read over everything before getting it. I am too dark to be able to use this laser hair remover so I can’t give my thoughts. What I can say is that it is pretty durable, it comes with everything needed to do the job, and it has an esthetic look and feel. The directions are understandable which is a plus especially for first timers. I am a bit sad that I was unable to use this thing.
