Get Akaso7 action camera if on the market!
I have been thoroughly enjoying the Brave 7 action camera.
Its features make it an excellent choice for a wide range of activities such as hiking, cycling, diving, and video presentations. One of its most compelling aspects is its affordability, especially when compared to its competitors. This makes it a strong option for those seeking value without compromising on features.
The overall capture quality and capabilities are great, and the auto-flip feature is incredibly useful when mounting it on my bike upside-down. The OTA updates are also a nice touch.
I do wish it had the still photo mode (which takes a photo every 3 seconds/5 seconds/10 seconds/30 seconds while recording video) that my two older V50X cameras had, as well as the tripod mount (instead of the bulkier case it comes with now). These are just a few things to consider.

Stable and clear
Connecting to my iPhone was a little challenging but it connected and now it work flawlessly. Value for quality of camera is great. Battery life is good and I have it mounted on a mount that helps keep battery maintained. Microphone is a bit muffled and could be a little clearer but overall works well

Excellent video quality, sound good, easy to use, nice accessories
I’ve only had my Akaso Brave 7 for about a week, but so far, I like it. I’m using it on a gimbal, but I don’t walk like a ninja! By itself, the internal stabilization is also good. At 4k, image quality is very good, but highlights do tend to blowout (many action cameras do). The new menus on the “anba” version were a surprise – they are more like a gopro and work well. The internal mic on this version is surprisingly good. You get many useful accessories, including mounts, a charger and 2 batteries. Battery life is quite good, too. My uploaded video was 4k, Amazon lowers resolution drastically, so don’t judge IQ by it.

Action cam that goes the distance
Overall the quality of the camera and the accessories is quite good. The camera seems robust although I haven’t dropped it yet. I bought this camera to use on my motorcycle trip to Alaska. Although, I did not use it in heavy rain it handled the varying weather conditions and functioned properly for the entire trip. The 4K image quality is excellent but looses some detail when recording high motion activities. I put the Image stabilization feature to the test on many miles of dirt roads. It worked flawlessly. Since this product is a GoPro “adjacent” design all of my mounts from my old GoPro worked with it, that was a nice bonus. The built in mic is pretty sensitive and even pics up voice over wind and engine noise. The remote is very handy for use when the camera is remotely setup or is out of easy reach and sight. The buttons are a little small and challenging to use with gloves on. The camera comes with lots of accessories for the price point.
Now for the not so good. I wouldn’t consider the battery life to be extraordinary more like just about adequate. Battery life varied quite a bit between the multiple batteries I used. So, having a few extras for back up is necessary. The touch screen UI is fairly intuitive but can be a pain when handling the camera while recording, accidental touches can change settings without warning. The record button on top is difficult to press especially with gloves on when the camera is in the plastic frame.
After using the camera for a good deal of time I am quite satisfied with it especially for the price point.

Better than GoPro
A very fun toy to play with, learning the settings and capabilities. The batteries last a long time and the card holds tons of images and videos! For the cost, this camera has an unbelievable range of capabilities. I highly recommend getting the accessories kit as well. That way you can configure just about any setup based on your video needs. I already tested it underwater. The video is unbelievably crisp and clear, and the motion is smooth. I do not have a special cover for underwater videos, as this camera can safely be used in the pool. There is a lot to learn and many options to explore. I recommend this camera; the price is unbeatable, and the quality is very high.

Great Little Camera, Great Price
I think this camera is the best value for your money. I chose the Brave 7 over the previous versions (Brave 6, 5, 4, etc.) because it is already waterproof with additional case. Very easy to operate and picture quality is as good as the higher priced brand name action cameras.

Iâve used this for filming fishing and hunting trips. Itâs easy to use. Battery lasts quite a while. Can be used with GoPro accessories. Quality is very good. Videos are easy to download. Glad for my purchase.

For its price, there is a ton of accessories, and the video taken is quite decent. The unit feels well built.
Problem is that the one I received has issue turning on the wifi – it gets stuck on the screen, and I have to manually reset the camera to get it back to a responsive state. No way I can turn on the wifi, it hangs the entire unit. App connectivity is a key reason I bought this. Contacting tech support, hopefully this gets resolved.
