Good little camera, especially for it’s price range!
We haven’t used this camera a ton yet, so we are still learning. We bought it mainly for MTB and kayaking and did not want to spend a lot of money on a more expensive camera, as we just want to play around with it, not invest hundreds of dollars. I will also start with saying that I am not very familiar with most any form of action camera. I just spent several hours on Amazon reading reviews from others who know more. :)Initially the remote would not operate the camera. I emailed customer support & they gave instructions to pair them. Thankfully it just randomly worked as I went to do it because the directions were very odd “1. Press both buttons vigorously 15 times. 2. The back of the remote control will hit the hard desktop 5 times.” is the start of them, for instance. But I was impressed with their quick and through help! :)We took it kayaking, using a helmet strap mount I found elsewhere. In bright light it is very hard to see the light, if you have it on/off. I wish the remote had some way to show the camera was on as well. I would imagine this is an issue for all cameras outside, so not a ding at all.It took good video, and the sound even wasn’t half bad, tho I didn’t get it for sound.Accessing the photos/video inside the camera is a pain since it is not touchscreen. But I assumed this would be the case, so no big deal. :)Using the app, I was able to access them once but have not been able to since. It was easy to just pull the card and put it in a laptop/etc. to see them and I think I will stick to that as our way of emptying and saving videos and photos from the card. I do like that the app is working well aside from accessing taken photos/videos. I don’t plan to use my phone to control the camera, but it is nice as an option if I change my mind in the future. The camera’s version of standby for remote use is video or single still photo. The camera has the option itself to do burst photos and can be controlled via the camera or the phone app this way. I do wish you could be in burst vs. video with the remote, but if left in burst mode, you get the one set of burst photos, then it defaults back to still photos once the video button is used. I wish it had buttons/abilities for all 3 or would stay on burst as I am terrible at taking photos and use burst to help my poor skills lol.I haven’t figured out all of the mounts yet. The connection clip in points on them seem to be fairly tight, which will be hard for me to undo, but at least I won’t lose the camera as easily? There is an interesting lapel/pocket clip mount that goes with the dry holder. I only point it out as I am not sure I would 100% trust that the mount and the clip won’t pop apart in an MTB crash. I wish the camera was held with more contacts for the dry mount and that there was some way to put a thin safety strap on the camera attached to me at the same time in case the mount busts, which I feel like will send the camera flying.Overall, I feel like it is a great camera for an entry level user who is just learning the ropes on having an action camera. 🙂

Looks pretty good
I haven’t had a chance to use the camera much yet, but so far it looks and feels great. The batteries loaded quickly, and it was easy to start the camera. The waterproof case seems sturdy. There are many options in the settings to play with. So far so good, and I am excited to test it out. I will update once tested.

No brainer if you’re new to these
I don’t have any experience with these kinds of cameras, but I have a lot of other cameras (astrophotography, DSLR, webcam, etc.). So while I can’t comment on how this does compared to other cameras in the same space, I can judge it well from other cameras types.Short version: It’s definitely worth giving consideration if you’re on a limited budget. It comes with A LOT of accessories to mount it. So many on fact, that it took me a bit to figure out that most of what I had were different methods of mounting the camera to a helmet, bike handlebars or other means. There is a waterproof case also, which is a nice addition. Again, a lot of this is new to me.Quality wise, it seems to capture decent video and images. There are some good options, and while the instructions aren’t perfect, they were clear enough for me to figure out how to access different menus and settings to find what I wanted to adjust. For a “starter” action camera, it’s hard to go wrong with this.

Product arrived damaged twice!
Ordered this camera and this is how it arrived. Ordered a replacement and there was a crack in the protective at the same location. So I havenât really used the camera yet. Maybe third time is the charm.

A good deal
I think this is a great deal. You get so much for your money. The number of accessories is a bit overwhelming and Iâd guess the vast majority of people would never use them all, so in that sense it seems a bit wasteful. But if you need a helmet mount or a bike mount or any other variety of mount for your camera, this kit probably comes with it.One minor disappointment is that I have to get a micro USB-style microphone instead of using a regular audio-cable style mic that I already have, but maybe thatâs standard on this style camera.Connecting to the phone via wifi is easy enough to do when you follow the instructions. I can imagine unique cases where you may need to control the camera with your phone, but the connection was slow. Plus you lose regular wifi connection on your phone when youâre connected to the cameraâs wifi.I love that this camera scrren shows a picture of a microphone or a corded microphone to show the difference between built-in mic or external mic. Because I ruined hours of my once-in-a-lifetime footage to Grand Canyon because I accidentally turned off the mic on my other mini camera mid-trip, and I didnât realize it until I got home and excitedly played back the footage.Do yourself a favor and familiarize yourself A LOT with this cameraâs interface before you take your big trip. Because it takes a while to get used to.Good camera, good deal.

Excellent value
I’ve wanted a GoPro for a good while, but could never justify or stomach the price for one. This camera was a very welcome surprise. It is very easy to set up and use and it comes with so many accessories. Whatever activity you are doing, this camera is going to support. At a fraction of the price of a GoPro, I am very impressed at the amount of features this camera offers. Highly recommend if you want an action camera, but don’t want to spend the premium price of a GoPro.
